Objective:To investigate the correlation between blood uric acid, blood homoc ysteine and serum cystatin C levels and type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI),in order to provide a new basis for early inte rvention and prognosis evaluation of future diseases. Methods: From March 2018 to September 2019,80 patients with type 2 diabetes were admitted to our hospital f or endocrinology and neurology, including 43 males and 37 females,aged(67.10±5.82)years old.Seventy patients with type 2 diabetes complicated with acute cerebra l infarction were selected, including 38 males and 32 females,aged(69.60±7.07)y ears old.Collect the general information of all patients in the group, determine the BMI,serum cystatin C,blood uric acid, blood homocysteine and blood lipid level s of each group, compare the differences between the two groups, and perform stat istical analysis.Postgraduates and neurologists with more than 2 years of experienc e in diagnosis and treatment in our hospital refer to the "Clinical Neurological Def ectiveness Scoring Criteria for Stroke Patients" jointly for all patients with type 2 diabetes and acute cerebral infarction.Patients with type 2 diabetes complicated by acute cerebral infarction were divided into mild, moderate and severe injury group s.The correlation between the levels of UA,HCY,CysC and the degree of neurol ogical deficits was studied in the three groups.Results:(1)By comparing the ACI +T2DM group and the T2 DM group,no significant differences were found between the two groups in gender,BMI value,TC,TG,HDL,and UA(P> 0.05);ACI + T2 DM group age,LDL,blood homocysteine, and cystatin C levels were significa ntly higher than those in the T2 DM group, and the differences were statistically si gnificant(P <0.05).(2)Logistic regression analysis showed that age, blood uric acid, and blood homocysteine Cystatin C is a risk factor for cerebral infarction(P <0.05).(3)The levels of Hcy and CysC in the severe neurological impairment gr oup were significantly higher than those in the mild and moderate groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The levels of Hcy and CysC in the moderate group were significantly higher than those in the mild group, and th e difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Spearman analysis showed that the degree of neurological deficits in the ACI + T2 DM group was positively correl ated with homocysteine levels(r = 0.289,P <0.05)and positively correlated with cystatin C levels(r = 0.353,P <0.05),There was no significant correlation wit h blood uric acid level(r = 0.094,P> 0.05).Conclusions:Age,blood uric acid,bl ood homocysteine, and serum cystatin C are related to the onset of acute cerebral infarction. They are risk factors for acute cerebral infarction and may be related to joint participation in vascular endothelial inflammatory injury and the promotion o f atherosclerosis. The levels of homocysteine and serum cystatin C are positively c orrelated with the degree of cerebral neurological impairment.Considering the two can provide clinicians with certain help in evaluating the prognosis of patients with type 2 diabetes complicated by acute cerebral infarction.
