Objective: To investigate the clinical features and prognosis of postoperative Renal Cell Carcinoma(RCC),and to analyze the related factors affecting the prognosis. Methods: Clinical and pathological data of 201 patients with surgically treated RCC admitted to First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2010 to December 2013 were retrospectively analyzed.Univariate and multivariate survival analyses were performed using Log-rank test and Cox proportional regression model. Results: Among 201 patients with RCC,130 were male(64.7%)and 71 were female(35.3%).Radical nephrectomy was performed in 161 patients(80.1%)and nephron sparing surgery in 40 patients(19.9%).166 cases of clear cell carcinoma(82.6%),16 cases of papillary carcinoma(7.9%),10 cases of chromophobe carcinoma(5.0%),9 cases of other unclassified renal carcinoma(4.5%).In the postoperative T stage,142 cases(70.6%)were pT1 stage,36 cases(17.9%)were pT2 stage,19 cases(9.4%)were pT3 stage and 4 cases(2.1%)were pT4 stage. The median follow-up time of 201 patients with RCC was 39.3 months(6-109 months). The 1-year,3-year and 5-year overall survival rates were 97.8%,94.2% and 89.1%.Univariate analysis showed that age,BMI,history of diabetes,ECOG-PS score, clinical symptoms,LDH level,AKP level, surgical procedure, tumor diameter,T stage, lymph node metastasis, pathological Furhman grade, microscopic tumor necrosis and venous tumor thrombus were related to the prognosis of patients.Multivariate analysis showed that ECOG-PS score,T stage and tumor necrosis under microscope were independent prognostic factors in patients with RCC.Conclusion:Surgery is the main treatment for RCC.For patients with RCC,ECOG-PS score,T stage and microscopic tumor necrosis are independent prognostic factors for 5-year overall survival.
