Objective: To study the effect of atrial fibrillation(AF)on the anatomy and function of the right heart using 3D Doppler echocardiography and Speckle tracking imaging,in order to realize 3D Doppler ultrasound Cardiogram and speckle tracking technology provide a brand-new,non-invasive and scientific method for the evaluation of the structure and function of the right heart in patients with atrial fibrillation. Methods: Collect 40 patients diagnosed as atrial fibrillation by conventional electrocardiogram or Holter electrocardiogram(Holter)as the research object, and 40 healthy subjects as the control group.Two-dimensional Doppler echocardiography,three-dimensional Doppler echocardiography and The speckle tracking technique measures two-dimensional Doppler echocardiographic parameters,three-dimensional Doppler echocardiographic volume parameters and myocardial strain parameters. Results: There was no significant change in left ventricular ejection fraction, right ventricular transverse diameter(RVD),right atrium lateral diameter(RAD),right ventricular end diastolic area(RVEDA),and right ventricular end systolic area(RVESA)in patients with atrial fibrillation;Left anterior-posterior diameter(LAD),peak tricuspid regurgitation velocity(TRV),pulmonary artery systolic pressure(PASP),right ventricular end-diastolic volume(RVEDV),right ventricular end-systolic volume(RVESV)increased,(P<0.05),In which the anterior-posterior diameter(LAD)of the left atrium increases significantly(P<0.01);the fraction of right ventricular area change(FAC),the longitudinal displacement of the tricuspid annulus during systole(TAPSE),the fraction of right ventricular ejection(RVEF),The right ventricular stroke volume(SV),right ventricular free wall basal segment and middle segment SR and ventricular septal basal segment and middle segment SR and GLSR decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion: The right heart function of patients with atrial fibrillation is lower than that of the control group. The volume and strain indexes measured by 3D Doppler echocardiography and speckle tracking technology are moresensitive than those by 2D Doppler echocardiography.
