Objective:To explore the relationship between low triiodothyronine(T3)syndrome and coronary artery disease severity and prognosis in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods:A total of 514 patients with suspected coronary heart disease and coronary angiography in the first affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January2018 to January 2019 were analyzed retrospectively.Patients were divided into normal thyroid function group and low T3 syndrome group according to thyroid function results before imaging.Collect clinical data of patients and evaluate the degree of coronary artery disease in patients with coronary heart disease using the Gensini score method, analyze the relationship between serum free triiodothyronine(FT3)value and blood lipid levels. The degree and prognosis of coronary artery disease were compared between patients with low T3 syndrome and those with normal thyroid function. All data were processed by SPSS 20.0software,P<0.05 showed statistically significant difference.Results:1.Correlation analysis between serum FT3 level and blood lipid,Gensini score, serum FT3 and triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(Total Cholesterol,TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol,LDL-C)level were negatively correlated(rs=-0.435,P<0.001,rs=-0.381,P<0.001,rs=-0.347,P<0.001),FT3 and high density High-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)levels were positively correlated(rs=0.444,P<0.001).2.Comparing the prevalence of coronary heart disease between the two groups of patients, the results suggest that the prevalence of coronary heart disease in the low T3 syndrome group is higher than that in the normal work group(c~2=34.209,P<0.001).3.The severity of coronary artery disease in patients with low T3 syndrome was more severe than that in patients with normal thyroid function, and the difference was statistically significant(R1=0.48,R2=0.55,R=0.5,t=-2.380,P=0.018).4.Logistic analysis of risk factors for coronary heart disease, the results showed that age(OR=1.028,95%CI:1.006~1.049,P=0.011),male(OR=2.950,95%CI:1.692~5.145,P<0.001),smoking(OR=1.876,95%CI:1.014~3.473,P=0.045),hypertension(OR=1.602,95%CI:1.030~2.491,P=0.037),hyperlipidemia(OR=7.522,95%CI:3.088~18.325,P<0.001)and low T3 syndrome(OR=4.514,95%CI 2.127~9.579 P<0.001)are risk factors for coronary heart disease.5.The incidence of complex end point events in low T3 syndrome group was significantly higher than that in normal thyroid function group(P=0.018).Conclusion:The degree of coronary artery disease in patients with low T3 syndrome group is heavier and the prognosis is worse than that of patients with normal thyroid function.Low T3 syndrome is one of the risk factors of coronary heart disease.
