Objective:In recent years, the proportion of respiratory tract infection caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae has been increasing year by year. There are more studies have shown that many extra-pulmonary organ damage is associated with this pathogen and the clinical manifestation of organ damage is lack of specificity and the severity of the damage is different. However, there are relatively few studies on the potential risk of extra-pulmonary organ damage in children with MP infection who are at high risk.In this study, the clinical features and related auxiliary examination results of children with MP infection were used to analyze and study the risk factors of extra-pulmonary organ damage, aiming at guiding the early clinical diagnosis, timely and regular treatment, accurately assessment of the severity and reduce organ damage and improve prognosis. Methods:The clinical data of 625 children hospitalized and diagnosed with MP infection in our hospital from January 2016 to December 2016 were collected.According to whether the damage of organs involving extra-pulmonary,the subjects were divided into observation group and control group. The former had extra-pulmonary organ damage, there were 212 cases of children, and the latter had no extra-pulmonary organ damage,a total of 413 cases. The relevant laboratory examinations and imaging examinations were perfected for the two groups of children and the incidence of organ damage was calculated. The age, sex, degree and duration of fever, white blood cell count,c-reactive protein, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, lactate dehydrogenase,d-dimer,and the use of macrolide antibiotics after onset were compared between the two groups. Finally, use statistical software to process and analyze the results. Results:Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection can cause a variety of extra-pulmonary organ damage, almost all over the system, the most common of which is the nervous system, cardiovascular system, digestive system, the incidence was 10.72%,8.32%,7.68%.Other damage included skin mucous membranes(4.32%),blood system(2.72%),and other systems(2.40%),and the incidence of simultaneous involvement of two or more organs was 4.0%.The univariate analysis of ten risk factors that may affect the occurrence of extra-pulmonary organ damage showed that the observation group were significantly different from the control group at the aspect of the duration of fever,CRP,LDH,D-D and the use of ML antibiotics within seven days after onset;there was no statistically significant difference in age, gender, peak fever, total WBC count, and ESR.Conclusion:The extra-pulmonary damage caused by mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in children may occur in all organs of the whole body and may even cause damage to multiple organs simultaneously;long duration of fever and high values of CRP,LDH,and D-D are the high-risk factors related to the damage caused by extra-pulmonary organs, and early application of macrolide antibiotics in a timely manner can reduce the occurrence of extra-pulmonary organ damage and improve prognosis.
