Purpose:To investigate the characteristics of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)clinical presentations in the patients of Parkinson's disease(PD)with motor symptoms in order to provide evidence for the treatment in Chinese Medicine.Method:After unified training, screening was conducted for patients with Parkinson's disease who came from the department of encephalopathy, department of Parkinson's disease outpatient service and department of encephalopathy ward of Nanjing university of Chinese medicine affiliated hospital of Neurology hospital of Neurology from May 2019 to December 2019.A total of 100 patients, aged 47-85 years,60 males and 40 females, were included in the cross-sectional study according to diagnostic and exclusion criteria. The personnel who filled in the case questionnaire were trained in the questionnaire filling instructions, the diagnostic criteria, the inclusion criteria, the exclusion criteria, the filling of the assessment scale, the four diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine and other relevant aspects,so as to achieve accuracy and consistency. For the patients who met the enrollment requirements, the questionnaires were filled in including general information, the unified assessment scale of Parkinson's disease, and the TCM syndrome factor scale of Parkinson's disease. Then the data in the questionnaire were recorded into the database, and SPSS 22.0 was used for data analysis and processingResults:?The age of the patients in this study ranged from 47 to 85 years old, with an average age of 70.38±8.01 years. The course of the disease ranged from 1 to 22 years, with an average of 6.58±4.15 years.?On the whole, the occurrence frequency of each syndrome factor is listed from high to low:liver wind syndrome, kidney deficiency syndrome, blood stasis syndrome, blood deficiency syndrome,qi deficiency syndrome, pith reduction syndrome, phlegm turbid syndrome, spleen deficiency syndrome,Yin deficiency syndrome, yangkang syndrome,qi stagnation syndrome,Yang deficiency syndrome, internal heat syndrome.According to the analysis of each group, the five syndromes with the highest frequency from high to low were:tremor group:liver wind, kidney deficiency, blood stasis, phlegm turbidity and pulp reduction.Ankylosis group:kidney deficiency, blood deficiency,Yang deficiency, blood stasis,qi deficiency;tremor ankylosis group:liver wind, kidney deficiency,qi deficiency, blood deficiency, marrow reduction.?The UPDRS scores and h-y ratings of the tremor group were lower than those of the other two groups.?The early stage of the disease is prone to liver wind, phlegm and other evidence of turbidity, the course of disease further increase is more likely to appear deficiency syndrome such as qi deficiency, blood deficiencyConclusion:?The main TCM syndromes of Parkinson's disease are liver wind syndrome and kidney deficiency syndrome. The common TCM syndromes of tremor group were liver wind syndrome, kidney deficiency syndrome and blood stasis syndrome. The common TCM syndromes in ankylosis group were kidney deficiency, blood deficiency and Yang deficiency. The common syndromes of tremor ankylosis group were liver wind syndrome, kidney deficiency syndrome and qi deficiency syndrome.?The overall condition of the patients with tremor as the main motor symptom was milder than that of the ankylosis group and the tremor ankylosis group? With the increase of the course of disease, the false syndrome was more than the positive syndrome. There was no significant relationship between the distribution of each syndrome element and gender.
