Clinical Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Soothing Liver,invigorating Spleen And Nourishing Blood On Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis And The Effect Of Serum IL-6

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of Soothing liver,Invigorating spleen and Nourishing blood on Hashimoto’s thyroiditis with normal thyroid function or subclinical hypothyroidism and its effect on serum interleukin-6.We hope to understand the mechanism of Soothing liver,Invigorating spleen and Nourishing blood on Hashimoto’s thyroiditis by studying the influence of related cytokines.Methods:60 cases of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis with normal thyroid function or subclinical hypothyroidism diagnosed by western medicine and liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome differentiated by traditional Chinese medicine were selected.60 patients were randomly divided into two groups,30 in each group.The control group was treated with follow-up observation without any drug intervention,while the treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine of soothing liver,invigorating spleen and nourishing blood.The treatment course of the two groups was 12 weeks.Thyroid function and thyroid autoantibody were measured before and after treatment,and the changes of clinical symptoms and signs before and after treatment were evaluated by syndrome integral.All data were processed by statistical software SPSS23.0.Results:(1)The total clinical efficacy:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 83.3%,and that of the control group was 10%.The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.(2)Curative effect of TCM syndromes:The scores of TCM syndromes in the treatment group were significantly improved compared with those in the former group,but there was no significant difference in the scores of TCM syndromes in the control group.The treatment group could significantly improve the symptoms of anterior cervical enlargement,anterior cervical compression,mental fatigue,lack of food and inactivity,emotional changes,pain of liver meridian,loose stool or dry first,excessive rest,irregular menstruation and dizziness(P<0.05),while the control group had no significant improvement in symptoms.(3)Thyroid function:TSH,FT3 and FT4 levels of thyroid function in treatment group and control group did not change significantly(P>0.05).There was no difference in TSH,FT3 and FT4 levels between the treatment group and the control group after treatment(P>0.05).(4)Thyroid-related autoantibodies:The levels of thyroid autoantibodies TGAb and TPOAb in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the previous group,while the levels of thyroid autoantibodies TGAb in the control group were not significantly changed.The level of thyroid auto antibodies TPOAb in the control group was decreased,but the degree of decline was small.Compared with the control group,the improvement of thyroid autoantibodies TGAb and TPOAb levels in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group.(5)Safety:The control group and the treatment group had no adverse reactions during the course of treatment.Conclusion:Soothing liver,Invigorating spleen and Nourishing blood can reduce the level of thyroid autoantibody,improve the clinical symptoms and signs,reduce the expression of cytokine IL-6 in Hashimoto’s thyroiditis patients with normal thyroid function or subclinical hypothyroidism,and has no significant effect on thyroid function.
