Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Mild Vascular Dementia After Stroke With Zhiqi Acupuncture

Objective To observe the clinical effect of mild vascular dementia patients after stroke treated with Zhiqi acupuncture through whose cognitive function,ability of daily life and TCM syndrome score,with a view to obtaining safe and effective treatments of vascular dementia.Methods After the cases were collected by the inclusion and exclusion criteria,60 cases were randomly assigned to acupuncture group(30 cases)and comparison(30 cases)by random number table.Among them,the control group was treated routine drug therapy and basic rehabilitation therapy in neurology,and the acupuncture group was treated with the therapy of Zhiqi acupuncture in addition.After the course of treatment,the score of MMSE(Mini-Mental State Examination),SDSVD(scale for diferention VD),ADL(Activities of Daily Living)and the clinical curative effects was evaluated.The clinical data was counted by statistical analysis software of SPSS 19.0 after the treatment which period was 8 weeks.Results 1.MMSE score comparison:after treatment,both group score of MMSE was improved compared with which than before treatment(P<0.05),and the acupuncture group score was superior to the control group(P<0.05);2.SDSVD and ADL score comparison:after treatment,both group score of SDSVD,ADL was declined compared with than before treatment(P<0.05),and the acupuncture group surpassed the comparison(P<0.05);3.Comparison of therapeutic effects:(1)cognitive therapeutic effects:in the acupuncture group,total consequent ratio was 83.3%,and the comparison was 56.7%,there was a difference between the two groups of patients on clinical total effective rate comparison(P<0.05),acupuncture group was greater than the comparison;(2)therapeutic effects of TCM symptom:in the acupuncture group,the total consequent ratio acupuncture group was 76.7%,and the comparison was 43.3%,there was a difference between the two groups of patients on therapeutic effects of TCM symptom rate comparison(P<0.05),acupuncture group was greater than the comparison.4.About the clinical adverse reaction:during the period of using the treatment of Zhiqi acupuncture for vascular dementia patients,there was not obviously adverse reactions.Conclusion This research comfirmed that the efficacy of Zhiqi acupuncture therapy treating vascular dementia patients was fine,which can improve patients' cognitive function,ability of daily life and scores of TCM syndrome,and it is safe,with little adverse reactions.
