Clinical Research On Intervention Effect Of Massage And Acupuncture On Children With Simple Obesity At School Age

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of massage and acupuncture on simple obesity of school-age children and provide them an accurate treatment method.Methods: 60 children of school-age with simple obesity who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 2 groups according to the random number table method,30 cases in the control group and 30 cases in the observation group.The control group was treated with diet and exercise program,and the observation group was treated with massage and acupuncture on the basis of the control group,once a day for a week,with 5consecutive days and a rest for 2 days,treatment for 10 days for 1 course of treatment,a total of 3 courses of treatment.Observe the changes in body weight,body mass index(BMI),waist circumference and TCM Syndrome Complex integral before and after treatment,and observe the clinical effect after treatment.Results: By the end of the treatment,3 children withdraw from the observation group and 1 from the control group,56 cases were actually completed.The observation group had 27 children and the control group had29.Body weight,body mass index(BMI),waist circumference and TCM Syndrome Complex integral in both groups decreased after treatment compared with ever before.The difference between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(p<0.05).After treatment,the body weight,BMI,waist circumference and TCM Syndrome Complex integral of the observation group and the control group were compared,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The improvement of the index in the observation group was better than that in the control group.Comparing the efficacy of the two groups after treatment,the observation group was better than the control group.Conclusions:(1)massage and acupuncture can remarkably improve the body weight,BMI,waist circumference and TCM Syndrome Complex integral of children with simple obesity at school age;(2)massage and acupuncture has a significant effect on children with simple obesity at school age;(3)massage and acupuncture is an effective way to treat the simple obesity in school-age children.
