Acupuncture Treatment Of Simple Obesity Clinical Research

Objectives Obesity seriously affects human's health, it is the important basis of hypertension, coronary heart disease, highlipoprotein disease, diabetes, etc. So, prevention and cure obesity is more and more regarded, acupuncture treatmentis used in clinicmore and more widely. So to investigate the therapeutic effects of treating simple obesity by acupuncture and massage.Method 60 cases of simply obesity, all women, this study uses acupuncture and massage and control group to treat two groups of 30 simply obesity cases. Stomach intestine type choosing the Zhongwan Tianshu Guanyuan.Quchi,Zusanli, and so on. Spleen and stomach type choosing Tianshu, Zusanli,Yinlingquan,Sanyinjiao and so on. Treatmentis was carried out everyday on the first week and three times a week after. The total course of atreatment cycle was 4 weeks. And there were two cycles in total, after a 2-course treatment and summarizing the therapeutic results in order to observe the actions of this therapy on symptom, body weight, BMI,and so on.Results: Total effective rate for acupuncture and massage is 90% and control group is 80% . The reductions in body weight, BMI and so on for each group are significant. Relative to the control group , the therapeutic effect of acupuncture and massage is significantly better. Conclusions: The therapeutic effect of acupuncture and massage is significantly better.
