Objective:By observing the short-term efficacy of radioactive iodine 125 seed implantation in the treatment of lung cancer, the influence factors for patients were studied such as sex, age, types of lung can, chemotherapy or not, tumor size, pathological type, number of particle implants, tumor staging. With the help of which to judge the prognosis of patients, formulate the corresponding personalized treatment plan.so as to improve the quality of life and reduce the survival rate of patients. Methods: A retrospective analysis of a total of 72 patients diagnosed with lung cancer who were admitted to the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine,Second People's Hospital of Yueyang City,Hunan Province, and from the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine,Yichang Central Hospital,Hubei Province from June 2016 to June 2019.All were diagnosed by histopathology.Follow-up 6 months later and the chest CT of the patients were reviewed to determine theshort-term efficacy.Comparison of some factors that may affect the efficacy of iodine 125 particles in the treatment of lung cancer, including age, gender, pathological type, number of particle implants, tumor staging, tumor size, and the presence of combined chemotherapy, etc.,and explore their influencing factors and independent effects factor. Results: 1.The 72 patients with lung cancer in this study had a maximum age of 85 years,a minimum age of 44 years, and an average age of(65.58± 9.06)years.By studying the effect of age on the short-term efficacy, there was statistical significance between the two(P <0.05).2.There were 58 males and 14 females, accounting for 80.56%and 19.44%,of which 52 were effective for males, the effective rate was89.66%,11 were effective for females, and the effective rate was 78.57%.By studying the effect of gender on the short-term efficacy,P> 0.05,there is no statistical significance between the two.3.There were 43 cases of squamous cell carcinoma,20 cases of adenocarcinoma, and 9 cases of small cell carcinoma.Among them,37 cases were effective for squamous cell carcinoma, with an effective rate of 86.05%,17 cases were effective for adenocarcinoma, and the effective rate was 85.00%.Effective for small cell carcinoma For 9 cases, the effective rate was 100.00%.By studying the effect of pathological type on the short-term efficacy,P> 0.05,there is no statistical significance between the two.4.The number of implanted particles is between 15-100 and the average number of implanted particles is(46.78 ± 19.37).By studying the effect of the number of implanted particles on the short-term efficacy, there is a statistical significance between the two(P <0.05).5.There were 4 cases in stage I,6 cases in stage II,33 cases in stage III,and 29 cases in stage IV.The effective rates were 100.00%,100.00%,96.97%,and 72.41%,respectively.By studying the effect of tumor staging on the short-term efficacy, there was statistical significance between the two(P <0.05).Comparing again between groups,it was concluded that there was statistical significance between patients with stage IV and patients with stage III(P <0.05).6.The size of the primary tumor was divided into four groups:T?3cm,3 <T?5cm,5 <T?7cm,and T> 7cm.The number of cases in each group was 16 cases,22 cases,15 cases,19 For example, the effective rate of each group was 93.75%,86.36%,80.00%,89.47%.P> 0.05,there is no statistical significance between the two.7.There were 36 patients with lung cancer who were treated with iodine 125 particle implantation combined with chemotherapy.Among them,35 patients were effective and the effective rate was 97.22%.Another 36 patients were treated with iodine 125 particle implantation alone for lung cancer.Twenty-eight patients were treated effectively, with an effective rate of 77.78%.By studying the effect of combinedchemotherapy on the short-term efficacy, there was statistical significance between the two(P <0.05).8.Age,number of particles, tumor stage, and presence or absence of combined chemotherapy were the influencing factors for the treatment of lung cancer with iodine 125 particles.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to obtain the number of particles(P <0.05,OR =1.491),and the presence or absence of chemotherapy(P <0.05,OR =88.717)is an independent influencing factor for the efficacy of 125 iodine in the treatment of lung cancer.Conclusion:1.Age,number of implanted particles, tumor staging, and the presence or absence of combined chemotherapy are the influencing factors for the efficacy of iodine 125 particles in treating lung cancer. It can be seen that the factors affecting the treatment of lung cancer with iodine 125 particles are complex and diverse.2.For lung cancer patients with iodine 125 particle implantation therapy, the sooner the 125 iodine particle implantation treatment, the maximum number of implanted particles and the combined chemotherapy may have better clinical efficacy.
