Objective: To investigate the factors of the recent curative effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for locally advanced cervical cancer. Methods: A retrospective analysis included these patients who were treated in the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University with cervical cancer in the period ranging from January 2008 to December 2018.All patients with FIGO stage IB2-IIB in 2009,were diagnosed with cervical cancer by pathological biopsy and treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy.A total of 67 clinical cases data were included in this study. The patients were separated into different groups, according to age,gestation,production,abortion,pre-chemotherapy red blood cell count, platelet count, pathological type, and clinical stage, clinical specimen type, menopause or not,pre-chemotherapy BMI,anemia or not, number of chemotherapy, chemotherapy regimen, lymph node metastasis, vessel invasive.According to the evaluation criteria of WHO chemotherapy efficacy, the size of tumor mass was compared before and after chemotherapy, and the valid cases and effective rates of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in each group were counted. Results:There were 3 cases of complete response,31 cases of partial response,28 cases of stable disease, and 5 cases of progressive disease. The effective rate was 51%(34/67).The short-term efficacy of locally advanced neoadjuvant chemotherapy was significantly associated with pre-chemotherapy anemia(P=0.018)and lymph node metastasis(P=0.038).Patients without anemia before chemotherapy were more effective than those who were with anemia. And patients with negative lymph nodes had better therapeutic effect than patients with positive lymph nodes.Lymph node metastasis was an independent factor which could influence the recent efficacy of NACT.The short-term efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy was unrelated with age,gestation,production,abortion,pre-chemotherapy red blood cell count, platelet count, pathological type, and clinical stage, clinical specimen type, menopause or not,pre-chemotherapy BMI,number of chemotherapy, chemotherapy regimen, vessel invasive. Conclusions:Neoadjuvant chemotherapy can significantly reduce the tumor size of locally advanced cervical cancer, increasing the chance of surgery for patients.Patients without anemia before chemotherapy were more effective than those who were with anemia. And patients with negative lymph nodes had better therapeutic effect than patients with positive lymph nodes.Lymph node metastasis was an independent factor which could affect the recent efficacy of NACT.
