ObjectiveTo explore the clinical influencing factors of intestinal barrier function in cancer patients,in order to provide a reference basis for clinical prevention in patients.MethodsIn this study,162 cancer patients in Department of Cancer Nutrition and Metabolic Therapy of our hospital from July 2018 to December 2018 were selected.Serum levels of were collected. The influencing factors of intestinal barrier function were analyzed combined with the clinical characteristics including age, sex, diagnosis of tumor, malnutrition classification, history of abdominal and pelvic radiotherapy in five years, chemotherapy history within one month(Fluorouracil,Irinotecan,Vinca alkaloids),defecate habit change, intestinal obstruction and concurrent infection.ResultsIn 162 patients,54.32%(88/162)patients exhibit increased DAO level while 45.68%(74/162)patients present normal DAO level;45.06%(73/162)patients exhibit increased D-lactic acid level while 54.94%(89/162)patients present normal D-lactic acid level;10.49%(17/162)patients exhibit increased bacterial endotoxin level while 89.51%(145/162)patients present normal bacterial endotoxin level. The single factor analysis shown that patients with high levels of serum DAO and bacterial endotoxin were correlated with malnutrition classification, defecate habit change, intestinal obstruction and concurrent infection while high levels of serum D-lactic acid was correlated with defecate habit change, intestinal obstruction. The multi-factor logistic regression analysis shown that defecate habit change was an independent factor for the high levels of D-lactic acid while infection was an independent factor for the high levels of bacterial endotoxin incancer patients.ConclusionDefecate habit change is an independent factor for the high levels of D-lactic acid, and infection is an independent factor for the high levels of bacterial endotoxin in cancer patients.Clinicians should pay attention to the influence of above factors on the intestinal barrier function, take effective intervention measures in a timely manner. At the same time, strengthen the intestinal barrier function index detection of cancer patients.
