Clinical Observation Of Jinzhiqingmu Prescription In The Treatment Of Meibomian Gland Dysfunction Dry Eye

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of jinzhiqingmu prescription on the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction dry eye.Methods: This study included 50 outpatients from December 1,2017 to December 1,2018 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of traditional Chinese medicine.According to different plans,they were divided into control group and experimental group.The patients in the control group(25 cases)were treated with Western Medicine(dianbishu eye cream),and the patients in the experimental group(25 cases)were treated with jinzhiqingmu formula on the basis of the control group.The osdi of the two groups were recorded before and after the treatment.Before and after the treatment,tear secretion test,tear rupture time measurement,corneal fluorescein sodium staining,meibomian gland obstruction,meibomian gland secretion characteristics and adverse reactions were performed.Results: In this study,dianbishu eye ointment combined with jinzhiqingmu formula was compared with dianbishu eye ointment alone.Before the treatment,the basic situation of the two groups was compared,P > 0.05,which proved that there was no statistical difference between the two groups.After treatment,the effective rate of the experimental group(96%)was much higher than that of the control group(84%),z =-2.125,P =0.034,P < 0.05.It is suggested that jinzhiqingmu formula combined with dianbishu eye ointment can effectively improve dry eye symptoms.After treatment,the osdi scores of the two groups were tested by t-test(P < 0.001),indicating that the difference was statistically significant,which proved that the experimental group was significantly better than the control group;at the same time,the objective indexes of the two groups after treatment,such as tear rupture time,tear secretion test,corneal fluorescein sodium staining,meibomian gland obstruction,meibomian gland secretion characteristics,were compared by Wilcoxon rank sum test,P < 0.01,which proves that the experimental group is better than the control group.It proved that the two groups of patients in the relevant indicators were significantly improved.It is suggested that jinzhiqingmu formula combined with dianbishu eye ointment can effectively improve the tear rupture time,tear secretion test,corneal fluorescein sodium staining,meibomian gland obstruction,meibomian gland secretion properties and other related indicators,and improve the related symptoms of patients.After treatment,the incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group,4% in the experimental group and 20% in the control group.Therefore,jinzhiqingmu formula combined with dianbishu eye cream is more reliable than dianbishu eye cream.Conclusion: The clinical effect of western medicine combined with jinzhiqingmu prescription on the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction dry eye is significant,and the adverse reactions are less.
