ObjectiveTo analyze and summarize the clinical characteristics of female patients with colorectal cancer(age, gender, reproductive history, family history and tumor related history, clinical manifestations, pathological characteristics and differentiation degree, etc.);to compare the clinical characteristics of young and old group women with colorectal cancer;to improve the clinical understanding of female patients with colorectal cancer, and to select correct and effective treatment.MethodThe data of colorectal cancer patients diagnosed by endoscopic pathology from January 2012 to December 2017 in Dezhou people's hospital were analyzed retrospectively.161 female patients were compared with male patients in the same period, and the trend of the number of female patients and the number of patients with age was obtained.According to the age of the patients, the patients were divided into two groups:the young and middle aged group(67 cases,41.6%)and the elderly group(94 cases,58.4%).The time of onset, clinical symptoms, lesion location, tumor size and shape, pathological type and classification, family history, reproductive history, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis were analyzed retrospectively.Results1.Compared with male patients of the same age, female patients with colorectal cancer have a higher incidence of colorectal cancer at the age of 60-65.2.The main clinical manifestations of colorectal cancer include abdominal pain, changes of stool property, anal drop sensation, changes of defecation regularity and abdominal mass.3.There were significant differences in tumor morphology(P<0.001),pathological type(P=0.026),TNM clinical stage(P=0.013)between the young and the old group.4.There was no significant difference in general characteristics, reproductive history, family history(P=0.213),tumor invasion depth(P=0.952),lymph node metastasis(P=0.487),distant metastasis(P=0.860),tumor location(P=0.099),tumor size(P=0.854),and tissue grade(P=0.358)between the young and the old group.5.In young and middle-aged women, colorectal cancer has a wide range of lesions,a late stage and a high degree of malignancy.Early screening and treatment of colorectal cancer can effectively prolong the survival period and improve the prognosis of patients.Conclusions1.The onset age of colon cancer in women is earlier than that in men,and the peak age is 60-65 years.2.Compared with the elderly colorectal cancer patients, the young and middle-aged female colorectal cancer patients have the characteristics of late clinical stage and low pathological tissue level.3.For those who need to cooperate with radiotherapy and chemotherapy after radical operation, they should consider age characteristics, fertility needs, and pay attention to the protection of fertility in the childbearing age.4.For the elderly female patients with colorectal cancer, the existing basic diseases should be fully evaluated before operation.Meanwhile, the basic diseases should be treated actively and the operation time should be chosen reasonably.Attention should be paid to the general survey of colorectal cancer and health education for the elderly5.Pay attention to the early screening of female colorectal cancer.Early prevention, early diagnosis and early treatment should be achieved. The misdiagnosis rate of female colorectal cancer patients should be reduced.
