| Objective:This study adopted a kind of retrospective analysis method to analyze the changes in the symptoms of loss of appetite,anorexia,and TCM symptoms of pediatric anorexia with the type spleen-stomach dampness-heat treated by the Huopu granules and to explore the efficacy and safety of the Huopo granules treating pediatric anorexia with the type of spleen and stomach dampness-heat,providing a basis for clinical application of the Huopo granules in the treatment of pediatric anorexia.Methods:The medical records were selected from 471 children diagnosed as pediatric anorexic with the type of spleen and stomach dampness-heat and treated with the Huopu granules in the Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hubei Province(Huayuanshan Clinic,Phoenix Clinic,Guanggu Clinic)from January2019 to December 2019.Exclude the medical records of children older than14 years old or younger than 1 year old,combined with other therapies,not revisited on time or combined with other diseases,and finally included 63 medical records that met the criteria and had complete and clear data.Retrospective analysis was used to collect all clinical data of the includedcases in an Excel form,including: the child's name,gender,age,Height,weight,time of consultation,season of onset,course of disease,diet structure,eating habits,diagnosis(Type),symptoms and signs before and after treatment,etc.Analyze and compare the changes in the symptoms of loss of appetite,anorexia,and TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment.Using SPSS20.0 statistical software to statistical analysis and to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the Huopo granules in treating pediatric anorexia with the type of spleen and stomach dampness-heat.Results:1.Efficacy of loss of appetite: The total effective rate of loss of appetite after treatment is 88.89%,the loss of appetite symptoms account for 36.51%,the symptoms of loss of appetite improve significantly is 19.05%,the proportion of improvement in loss of appetite is 33.33%,and the changeless in symptoms of loss of appetite account for 11.11%.2.Efficacy of anorexia: The total effective rate after treatment of pediatric anorexia is 87.30%.The clinical cure rate is 28.57%.The marked effective rate is 23.81% and effective rate is 34.92%,and the ineffective rat is 12.70%.3.Efficacy of TCM syndromes: After treatment,the total effective rate of TCM symptoms was 87.30%.The clinical cure rate was 26.98%,the significant effective rate was 22.22%,the effective rate was 38.10%,and the ineffective rate was 12.70%.The total score of TCM symptoms was significantly reduced,and the difference was statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P <0.01).There was a statistically significant difference in the scores of the main syndromes(loss of appetite and decreased appetite)before and after treatment(P <0.01).The scores of the secondary symptoms(halitosis,nausea,vomiting,dry stool,foulness,burnout,thirst)before and after treatment were statistically significant(P <0.05),and the difference before and after treatment was not significant(P> 0.05).4.None of the 63 children had any adverse reactions within 4 weeks of the observation period.No abdominal pain,diarrhea and other allergic reactions were recorded.Conclusion:This study shows that the Huopo granules have a definite effect on the treatment of pediatric anorexia with the type of spleen and stomach dampness-heat,and can increase significantly the appetite of children,and it can significantly improve the children's bad breath,nausea,vomiting,dry stool,stench,burnout,thirst,and the it has a high application safety,which is a reference basis for the Huopo granules in treating pediatric anorexia with the type of spleen and stomach dampness-heat and optimized the treatment plan for pediatric anorexia. |
