Study On The Application Of Thunder Fire Moxibustion Array Therapy Combined With Acupressure In Patients With Facial Paralysis Of Wind-cold Type

Objective: The purpose of this study was to observe the clinical efficacy of thunder fire moxibustion array therapy combined with acupressure on patients with facial paralysis of wind-cold type.Methods: A total of 130 patients with wind-cold type facial paralysis were selected in the acupuncture department of grade a class three hospital in Changchun City.Two patients fell off during the study,65 in the intervention group and 63 in the control group.The control group was conventional treatment and conventional nursing,and the intervention group was treated with thunder fire moxibustion array therapy combined with acupressure on the basis of conventional treatment and conventional nursing.Before and after the treatment,House and Brackmann Facial Grading System,the TCM syndrome score,Nottingham System and were used to evaluate the efficacy.Data analysis was performed by SPSS19.0 statistical software,and a P <0.05 indicated that the difference was statistically significant.Results: There was no statistical difference(P> 0.05)between the two groups of patients with general information such as gender,affected side,age,and time of disease,which two groups were comparable;The TCM syndrome score,The Nottingham score of the two groups of patients were better than before the intervention,and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05);After the intervention,House-Brackmann(H-B)facial nerve function grade,The TCM syndrome score The Nottingham score,and of the intervention group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).The number of cured,markedly effective,and effective cases in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group,and the number of ineffective cases was significantly lower than in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusions: Adding thunder fire moxibustion array therapy combined with acupressure treatment to conventional treatment and conventional nursing measures arebetter than simple conventional treatment and conventional nursing in improving the level of TCM syndromes,restoring face,and improving facial nerve function.
