Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Wind-cold Facial Paralysis With Circumauricular Moxibustion Of Shaoyang Meridian Combined With Acupuncture

Objective: To compare and observe the clinical efficacy of circumflex moxibustion around ear Shaoyang meridian combined with acupuncture and ordinary acupuncture in the treatment of wind cold type facial paralysis,and to evaluate whether this method has advantages in clinical treatment of wind cold type facial paralysis compared with ordinary acupuncture.Methods: 60 patients with wind cold facial paralysis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.The treatment group was intervened by circumflex moxibustion combined with acupuncture,while the control group was intervened by ordinary acupuncture,once a day,10 days as a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses.The house brackmann facial nerve function score and TCM symptom score were recorded before and after treatment to evaluate the curative effect.All data were analyzed by SPSS21.0.Result:(1)Intra group comparison: after treatment,the H-B grade score of the treatment group was significantly lower(P < 0.05),and the TCM symptom score of the patients with dysphoria was significantly lower(P < 0.05).After treatment,the H-B grade score of the control group was significantly lower(P< 0.05),and the TCM symptom score of the patients with dysphoria was significantly lower(P < 0.05);(2)Comparison between groups: compared with the control group,the H-B grade score of the treatment group was significantly lower(P < 0.05),and the TCM symptom score of the patients with dysphoria was significantly lower(P< 0.05);(3)Total effective rate: compared with the control group,P > 0.05,the total effective rate of the treatment group(96.67%)was higher than that of the control group(86.67%).Conclusion:(1)Circumflex moxibustion combined with acupuncture can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with wind cold type facial paralysis,and the improvement of clinical symptoms is more obvious than ordinary acupuncture.However,there was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups;(2)Circumflex moxibustion combined with acupuncture has obvious curative effect and simple operation,which has certain clinical significance.
