ObjectiveThe morbidity of prostate cancer in China is increasing.According to the latest data from the National Cancer Center, prostate cancer has become a tumor with the highest morbidity in urinary system since 2008,and the morbidity rate in 2009 was 9.92 per 100,000,ranking 9th among all male malignancies,by 2014,it had the second high-est incidence of male malignancies. The occurrence of prostate cancer is a multi-factor,complex,and multi-step process. The pathogenesis of prostate cancer has not been fully identified. In recent years, some scholars have suggested that metabolic syndrome may be an important risk factor. In addition to the close relationship between metabolic syn-drome with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, recent studies have found that it is also related to many urinary malignancies such as bladder cancer,RCC and prostate cancer closely. This study reviewed the clinical data systematically of patients with primary prostate cancer diagnosed in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou Uni-versity from January 2010 to April 2018 and tried to find out preventive and adjuvant treatment methods in metabolic for patient with prostate cancer, providing reference for multidisciplinary collaboration and individualized treatment.MethodsReviewing the clinical data systematically of a total of 200 patients with primary prostate cancer diagnosed in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2010 to April 2018,and collect complete medical records, such as age, height, weight, blood pressure etc.Asking about if they have difficulty in urination, pain in bone, lymphadenopathy and so on.In current medical history, ask if they have per-formed surgery, had trauma and so on.Physical examination such as digital rectal examination. If there is a mess, describe the the mobility, activity degree and tenderness.Laboratory examination such as fasting blood glucose, blood lipids.Imaging and patho-logical examination such as bone emission computed tomography.Magnetic resonance imaging,Gleason score, clinical stage.Clinical data above were divided into MS group and the nMS group according to the 2005 standards of the International Diabetes Fed-eration and the Chinese Diabetes Society in 2007.To compare and analyze the relation-ship between metabolic syndrome and its components with pathological grade, clinical stage and risk grade of prostate cancer.ResultsAt the level of ?=0.05(bilateral),it can be considered that the average BMI of the MS group is greater than the average BMI of the nMS group. The probability of high pathological grade in the MS group was greater than that in the nMS group. The probability of high clinical staging in the MS group is greater than that in the nMS group. The probability of high-risk classification in the MS group was greater than that in the nMS group.According to the Pearson ?2 independence test, there was a certain relationship between high prostate cancer risk classification and different blood pres-sure groups(?2=27.087,P<0.001,r=0.345).There is a certain relationship between risk classification and dyslipidemia(?2=1.271,P<0.001,r=0.513),There is a cer-tain relationship between the prostate cancer risk level and MS(?2=138.359,P=0.031,r=0.639).Correlation analysis shown that the concentration of high-density lipopro-tein cholesterol in blood was related to the clinical stage of prostate cancer(P=0.047).The odds ratio of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol abnormalities was 0.23 compared with normal patients. There was a correlation between BMI and prostate cancer risk classification(P=0.043).The odds ratio was 13.006 for those with BMI?25 kg/m2 compared with those with BMI<25 kg/m2.There was a correlation between blood TG concentration and risk grade of prostate cancer(P=0.013).Those with abnormal blood TG had an odds ratio of 1.564 compared with those with normal TG.ConclusionProstate cancer patients with metabolic syndrome have the possibility of distant metastasis, higher Gleason pathological grade(G3?4),higher clinical stage, and higher risk grade than those without metabolic syndrome.Among the components of the met-abolic syndrome, factors such as BMI,blood pressure, and the presence of dyslipidemia have a certain relationship with the risk of prostate cancer;serum high-density lipopro-tein cholesterol concentration is a negative correlation factor for the clinical stage of prostate cancer;body weight,BMI,TG was positively correlated with prostate cancer risk classification. The diagnostic criteria for body weight>71.89kg,BMI?26.30kg/m2,blood TG?4.64mmol/L and HDL-C?1.00mmol/L are high sensitivity and specificity to judge the high clinical stage of prostate cancer. The diagnostic criteria of body weight?74.68kg,BMI?25.00kg/m2,blood TG?4.88mmol/L and systolic blood pressure?138mmHg have high sensitivity and specificity to judge the high pathological grade of prostate cancer.
