ObjectiveTo investigate the status of health-promotion behavior of nurses in secondary and tertiary hospitals in Zhengzhou,and analyzed the relationship with organizational support and general self efficacy,To explores the related factors that may affect the current health-promotion behavior of clinical nurses and provide a reference for managers to grasp the current situation of nurses' health-promotion behavior more accurately.MethodsThis research was included in two parts:quantitative study and qualitative study.In the quantitative study stage,this study used the two-stage sampling method,From December 2018 to April 2019,a total of 543 clinical nurses from three tertiary general hospitals and two secondary general hospitals in Zhengzhou were selected as the survey objects.The general information questionnaire,the general self efficacy,perceived organizational support scale and health-promotion lifestyle scale were used to understand the status of health-promotion behaviors of clinical nurses,and the correlations between them were explored.Epidata3.1 software and SPSS21.0 software were used for data entry and statistical analysis,including descriptive analysis,independent sample t-test,one-way analysis of variance,correlation analysis,mediation effect analysis and multiple regression analysis;In qualitative study stage,the purposive sampling method was adopted to select 8 clinical nurses who participated in the questionnaire survey in the early stage to conduct semi-structured interview.The phenomenology method was used to analyze the interview data,and extract the relevant factors affecting nurses' health-promotion behavior.Result1.The mean score of clinical nurses' health-promotion behavior was(1.85±0.49).The highest scores in each scale were workplace safety(2.14±0.54),followed by self-actualization(2.13±0.55),interpersonal support(1.96±0.59),balanced diet(1.70±0.72)and constitutional(1.32±0.75);the total score of perceived organizational support was(43.67±11.53);the total score of the general self efficacy was(29.28 ±4.42).2.The average score of nurses' health-promotion behavior as the dependent variable,there were statistically significant(P<0.05)in the single factor analysis and correlation analysis of health promotion behavior scores among nurses,such as gender,income,work department,residence status,hospital level,perceived health,learn health courses,the general self efficacy and perceived organizational support;The related factors were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis,Six variables of the general self efficacy,perceived emotional support,perceived health,residence status,hospital level and learn health courses were entered into the regression equation,which can explain 47.7%of the variation of nurses' health-promotion behavior.The general self efficacy played a partial mediation effect between organizational support and health-promotion lifestyle,mediation effect accounted for 55.3%.3.The results of qualitative research showed that the related factors influencing the health promotion behavior of clinical nurses included:health awareness,occupational challenge,support system,environmental construction and individual difference.Conclusion1.The health promotion behavior of clinical nurses in the Grade ? and ?hospitals in Zhengzhou was at the middle level,but their scores in constitutional and balanced diet were still low.It suggests that managers should pay attention to the exercise and diet of clinical nurses and take corresponding intervention measures to manage the exercise and diet of nurses.2.According to the current situation of clinical nurses' health-promotion behaviors and the analysis of related factors,the nursing management department should be prepared to support nurses' health-promotion behaviors and create a safe healthy workplace,increase the organizational support for health promotion behavior of clinical nurses.
