Objective To understand the research status of appropriate TCM nursing interventions for diabetic foot, and to use the bibliometrics and content analysis methods to load the Chinese,English, and Chinese literature in this field, issue organizations, journals and fund sources, sample size, and outcome indicators.Conduct induction, analysis, and statistics. At the same time, the Chinese(English)Chinese system review / Meta analysis of this research area is re-evaluated in order to provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for clinicians and researchers.Method Study 1: Select CNKI,VIP,Sino Med,Wanfang,Pub Med,Cochrane library central,EMBASE database, use excel software and SPSS26.0 software, from the basic information, intervention status, outcome indicators, etc.,build a database in this field to 2019.Descriptive statistical analysis was performed on the literature on appropriate techniques of TCM nursing intervention for diabetic foot published on December 31,2013 to summarize the current research characteristics and status in this field.Study 2: Select CNKI,VIP,Sino Med,Wanfang,Pub Med,EMBASE,Cochrane library central database, and search for systematic reviews or(and)meta-analysis of appropriate Chinese medicine nursing technology intervention for diabetic foot published from the establishment of the database to December 31,2019 The literatures were analyzed, the literatures were screened according to the criteria for inclusion, the data were extracted, the included literatures were evaluated for methodological quality using the AMSTAR 2 scale, and the GRADE scales were used to evaluate the quality of the evidence for the included research results. Results Study 1: 324 documents were finally included that met the requirements. The time span was from 1998 to 2019.The annual volume of publications generally increased in a wavy manner.96.91% of the documents were developed in Chinese. In addition to China,Sweden and Israel have also carried out research in this field. The publishing institutions are mainly concentrated in the TCM departments of TCM and Western Hospitals;only 19.44% of the research has been funded;most of the literature in this field has been published in TCM journals and journals of diabetes specialists.,3.40%).A total of 20,672 study subjects were involved in the 324 studies, and the sample size varied greatly in different studies. The maximum sample size was 257 and the smallest was only 1 case. The most commonly used nursing measures are traditional Chinese medicine fumigation(68/259,26.25%),wet compress(49/259,18.92%),fumigation + acupressure(15/259,5.79%);in recent years, traditional Chinese medicine wax New technologies such as therapy and traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis have also begun to be applied to the care of diabetic foot.59.88% of the studies are randomized controlled studies;only 27 studies have reported TCM syndromes;Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndromes are the most common syndromes;and the most commonly used outcome indicator for appropriate TCM nursing interventions for diabetic foot is total effectiveness(152,52.60%)and cure rate(26,9.00%).Study 2: This study included a total of 8 systematic reviews, including 16 outcome indicators.Only 2 studies showed intermediate evidence in terms of total clinical effectiveness and healing rate, and the rest showed low or very low level evidence.Suitable techniques for TCM nursing(Traditional Chinese medicine foot bath, acupoint massage, wet compress method, etc.)Intervention of diabetic foot, compared with conventional nursing intervention, can improve the total effective rate, healing rate and wound healing time, with higher effectiveness and safety. In the methodological quality AMSTAR 2 scale evaluation,7 included studies were of intermediate or advanced quality. Conclusions 1.The number of literatures on the application of appropriate TCM nursing technology to diabetic foot is increasing year by year, but the overall quality is not high and the influence is not enough. At present, the most widely used and potential in clinical practice are traditional Chinese medicine fumigation, acupoint massage, and traditional Chinese medicine wet compress.New technologies such as traditional Chinese medicine wax therapy and traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis need to be promoted and applied in more regions to confirm their effectiveness and safety. At the same time, the clinical application of the appropriate technology of TCM nursing fails to fully reflect the dialectical operation according to the type of medical syndrome.Randomized controlled trials are the main type of research in this field, but their quality is generally low.2.Proper technology of Chinese medicine nursing to prevent and cure diabetes is the future, but the level of evidence included in the study is low,and the quality of reports and methodologies also need to be improved. It is recommended that clinical researchers use caution when using evidence. In addition,multi-centers should be further developed large-scale clinical trials.
