Objective This paper discusses the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with collateral bloodletting acupuncture in the treatment of tinnitus, through the comparison of the therapeutic effect between the collateral bloodletting acupuncture group and the general acupuncture group,so as to provide the clinical basis for the optimization of the therapeutic scheme of acupuncture and moxibustion on tinnitus. Methods Sixty tinnitus patients were randomly divided into two groups: the general acupuncture group and the collateral bloodletting acupuncture group. Each group had 30 cases. The general acupuncture group was treated with general acupuncture,10 days of 1 course;in the collateral bloodletting acupuncture group, the Er Jian point and Da Zhui point were pricked and bleeded on the basis of the general acupuncture group,5 times for 1 course, both groups were treated with 3 courses of treatment. The tinnitus evaluation scale(TEQ),visual analogue scale(VAS),pure tone hearing and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)were measured before and after the treatment in each group, and the changes of the above indexes before and after the treatment and the difference of clinical efficacy between the two groups were compared.Results(1)There was no significant difference between the two groups in gender, age, course of disease, disease location and TCM syndrome type(P > 0.05).(2)TEQ score before treatment was compared between the two groups, the difference was not statistically significant and was comparable(P > 0.05).After three courses of treatment,TEQ scores of the two groups were significantly different from those before treatment(P < 0.01),and there was difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).(3)VAS score before treatment was compared between the two groups, the difference was not statistically significant and was comparable(P > 0.05).After three courses of treatment,VAS scores of the two groups were significantly different from those before treatment(P < 0.01),and there was difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).(4)The mean threshold score of hearing before treatment was compared between the two groups, the difference was not statistically significant and was comparable(P > 0.05).After three courses of treatment, the average hearing threshold score of the two groups was significantly different from that before treatment(P < 0.01),and there was difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).(5)Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the HAMA scale and the score of insomnia and attention disorder in the scale between the two groups, suggesting comparability(P > 0.05);there was no significant difference in the distribution of insomnia and attention disorder in HAMA scale between the two groups, suggesting comparability(P > 0.05).After three courses of treatment, the total score of HAMA scale and the scores of insomnia and attention disorder in the scale were significantly different from those before treatment(P < 0.01),and there was difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).(6)The two groups were evaluated after three courses of treatment. In the general acupuncture group,1 case was cured(3.33%),4 cases were significantly effective(13.33%),17 cases were effective(56.67%),8 cases were ineffective(26.67%),and the total effective rate was 73.33%.In the collateral bloodletting acupuncture group,2cases were cured(6.67%),10 cases were effective(33.33%),14 cases were effective(46.67%),4 cases were ineffective(13.33%),and the total effective rate was 86.67%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion(1)The treatment of tinnitus in the general acupuncture group and the collateral bloodletting acupuncture group achieved good efficacy, which can improve the severity, loudness, hearing condition and anxiety;(2)The clinical effect of the collateral bloodletting acupuncture group on tinnitus was superior to that of the general acupuncture group.
