The Observation Of Clinical Curative Effect On Treating Tinnitus With Acupuncture

Objective:To observe curative effect on treating tinnitus with acupuncture and analyse correlated factors, thus evaluate the effect of acupuncture treatment in clinical.Methods:Patients were divided into experiment group cured with decoction, according to syndrome differentiation, combined with acupuncture, and control group cured with decoction according to syndrome differentiation at random,28samples are in experiment group and 27 in control group. Acupoints as ermen、tinggong、yifeng、 wangu, baihui、sishencong were selected as main points. Local points were selected according to syndrome differentiation as follows. Fire in liver and blood:xiaxi, taichong, xingjian.Stagnation of phlegm-fire:fenglong, yinlingquan, neiting。qi stagnation and blood stasis:taichong, sanyinjiao, xuehai.deficiency of kidney essence: guanyuan, taixi, zhaohai。Deficiency of qi and blood:zusanli, qihai, sanyinjiao. Needle points of scalp area and surrounding ears with mild reinforcing-reducing method and local points were needled with tonifying method and purgative method accordingly. Retain needle for 30 minutes each day. Five times a week, the course last for 4 weeks in succession. All patients, were treated with psychotherapy. To observe the tinnitus scores and the quality of patients’life separately every two weeks. Then analysis the date in SPSS 19.0.Results1. The effective rate of experiment group was 53.6 percent and 25.9 percent in control group in two weeks, P=0.036< 0.05, The difference is statistically significant, and increased to 75 percent in experiment group and 40.7 percent in control group in four weeks after the treatment. P=0.010<0.05, The difference is statistically significant。The effective rate of 2 weeks was 40.0 percent, The effective rate of 4 weeks was 58.1 percent, p=.046<0.05, The difference is statistically significant。2.Relative analyses showed there were the linear relationship between curative effect and course、pattern of syndrome、age and sexes, Treatment for 2 weeks、4 weeks,,differences had no statistical significance.Whether tinnitus was matched or not, it is not related to effective rate in statistic.3. Tinnitus levels are positive related to the quality of patients’ life,and the relationship between they two increased with the therapy course.ConclusionThe curative effect of group treated with acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine, with a rapid onset, are better than that of treatment with Chinese medicine. The quality of patients’ life improved with their symptom decreased. But the curative effect has no significant difference between course、pattern of syndrome、age and sexes.Also for patients with hearing loss,the remission of tinnitus of their hearing acuity.
