Objective: Observe the enteral nutrition effects of Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction used preoperatively on patients of hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancer with spleen-stomach Qi deficiency by analysing the PG-SGA score, serum nutrition index, body composition and the change of TCM syndrome to evaluate whether or not Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction can improve the effect of preoperative enteral nutrition. Methods: 48 patients of Shanxi provincial hosptial with hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancer in 2018-2019 were randomly divided into two groups: 24 cases in experimental and control group respectively.Age from 48?71 years old.The enteral nutrition emulsion(TPF)was given by 23ml/kg per day(about 30 kcal/kg)at 24 hours after admissionin in control group. The decoction was added on the basis of the control group by 200ml/day(100ml in the morning and in the evening respectively)for 7 days in the experimental group. The nutrition assessment and the change of TCM syndromes were done before and after the treatment by PG-SGA score, serum ALB and PA,the determination of body composition(body fat volume and skeletal muscle mass)and the criterion of TCM syndrome respectively. Finally, data were collected and analyzed,P<0.05 was considered significant statistically.Results:(1)the nutritional indexes(PG-SGA score, serum PA,body fat and skeletal muscle mass)of the two groups were significantly improved(P<0.05).Moreover it is better in the experimental group in improving the nutritional status of the body(P<0.05).(2)By comparing the curative effect of TCM symptoms, the experimental group had an obvious advantage over the control group in improving TCM symptoms after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion: For the patients of hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancer with spleen-stomach Qi deficiency syndrome, the Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction used preoperatively can optimize the therapeutic effect of enteral nutrition and improve the TCM symptoms.
