Objectives : To investigate and compare the efficacy of MIPPO technique and interlocking intramedullary nailing technique in the treatment of ao-b type closed fractures in the middle and lower tibial shaft in adults. Methods:From December two thousand and seventeen to March two thousand and nineteen,fifty-three ao-b type closed fracture patients with closed ao-b type tibial shaft fractures in our hospital were collected, and 48 patients were followed up,including 42 patients with B1 and B2 type fractures and 6 patients with B3 type fractures. They were grouped and treated with two different internal fixation methods, namely intramedullary nailing technique and MIPPO technique. In the treatment group A,intramedullary nailing technique was used to treat 28 cases of fractures of the middle and lower segment of the tibial shaft, including 24 cases of B1 and B2,4 cases of B3,17 cases of male and 11 cases of female, aged 22 to 74 years,The mean age of the included patients was(44.82±12.06)years old,The number of cases of right calf(ao-b type closed fracture)was 9,and the number of cases of left calf(ao-b type closed fracture)was 19.In treatment group B,20 patients were treated with MIPPO technology, including 18 with B1 and B2,2 with B3,12 with men and 8 with women, aged 24-70 years, with an average age of(44.95±14.12)years,13 with left calf and 7 with right calf. After the operation, the patients were timely instructed to carry out appropriate functional rehabilitation training of the affected limb, and patients were followed up regularly after discharge. Results:The 48 selected patients were finally followed up for 6-15 months, averaging 12.32 months. In the group of intramedullary nail fixation with the last follow-up,there were 18 excellent cases and 5 good cases, with an excellent and good rate of 82.14%.In the fixed group of MIPPO technology,12 cases were excellent,4 cases were good, and the excellent and good rate was80.00%.Take out stitches with rank and inspection the final two groups of patients was nostatistically significant differences in the incision healing of when(P ? 0.05).Conclusions:By comparing the effect of intramedullary nail and MIPPO technique on ao-b type closed fracture of middle and lower segment of tibial shaft in adults,it can be known that two different internal fixation techniques have positive effect on ao-b type closed fracture of middle and lower segment of tibial shaft in adults.Compared with intramedullary nailing,MIPPO technique has the advantages of simple operation, short operation time,no knee pain, and short fracture healing time, etc. It is one of the most effective internal fixation for the treatment of ao-b type closed fracture in the middle and lower segment of tibial shaft in adults.
