Effect Of Traditional Uyghur Medicine Comprehensive Therapy On Quality Of Life In Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective: to evaluate comprehensively and objectively the effect of comprehensive treatment program of Traditional Uyghur medicine on the quality of life of the patients with Rheumatoid arthritis using SF-36 scale(Chinese version),DAS28 and TUM symptomatic efficacy criteria.Methods : 200 confirmed cases of Rheumatoid arthritis were randomly selected and treated with the comprehensive treatment program of Traditional Uyghur medicine for 18±3 days.The SF-36 scale(Chinese version)was applied before and after treatment,And the clinical symptoms,signs and TUM symptoms of the patients were observed using DAS28 and TUM symptomatic efficacy criteria,and the effect of the comprehensive treatment program of Traditional Uyghur medicine on the quality of life of RA patients was evaluated comprehensively and objectively.Results : it was statistically significant to compare 189 RA patients`s symptoms,main symptoms and secondary symptoms of TUM before and after the treatment(P < 0.05).There was statistical significant between ESR,CRP and RF before and after treatment(P <0.05).There was not statistically significant between ALT,AST,BUN,Cr before and after treatment(P>0.05).The difference of fasting blood glucose before and after treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.05).DAS28 score shows statistically significant difference before and after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion: the comprehensive treatment program of Traditional Uyghur medicine significantly improves patients`s symptoms,main symptoms and secondary symptoms of TUM,as well as clinical laboratory indexes such as ESR,RF and CRP.It has obvious advantages in improving patients' Physical Functioning(PF),Role-Physical(RP),Bodily Pain(BP),General Health(GH),Vitality(VT),Social Functioning(SF),Role-Emotional(RE),Mental Health(MH)and other dimensions of life quality of the patients with RA.
