Objective: To investigate the factors affecting the onset and malignant transformation of endometrial polyps in postmenopausal women.Method: 230 postmenopausal women who were treated in the Gynecology Center of the first affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2016 to December 2018 were divided into normal group(n=74),EP benign group(n=143)and EP malignant group(n=13).Logistic univariate and multivariate analysis were used to analyze the data of the three groups. Results: univariate analysis showed that the normal group was compared with the EP group(EP benign group and EP malignant group). The related factors of postmenopausal EP were age, menopausal years, pregnancy, parity, hypertension, adenomyosis, chronic endometritis, cervical polyps and hormone replacement therapy.Multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that hypertension, chronic endometritis, adenomyosis and cervical polyps were independent influencing factors of postmenopausal EP.Univariate analysis showed that the related factors of malignant transformation of postmenopausal EP in EP benign group and EP malignant group were age, years of menopause, pregnancy, parity and abnormal bleeding(P<0.05).Multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that age and abnormal postmenopausal bleeding were independent influencing factors of postmenopausal EP malignant transformation. Conclusion: hypertension, chronic endometritis, adenomyosis and cervical polyps are the risk factors of EP.Age and abnormal uterine bleeding after menopause are the risk factors of malignant transformation of EP.
