Objective:To understand the epidemic distribution of human papillomavirus(HPV)genotypes among women in Xinjiang,and further explore the relationship between human papillomavirus(HPV)and Thinprep cytology test(TCT)results.Methods:The first test results of HPV and the corresponding TCT test results of 23818 female outpatients from the affiliated cancer hospital of xinjiang medical university from 2010 to2017 were collected,and the above data were retrospectively studied.Results:The prevalence of HPV was 36.17%.The infection rate of HPV single type was 30.29%.The multiple infection rate of HPV was 5.88%.The top five HPV genotypes in this region were HPV6(22.68%),HPV16(19.95%),HPV58(3.28%),HPV52(2.57%)and HPV53(2.46%).The relationship between HPV single-type infection and TCT results shows:ASC-US 1.70%;ASC-H 0.67%;L-SIL 3.12%;H-SIL 3.88%;SCC 13.78%;The relationship between HPV multiple-type infections and TCT results showed that:ASC-US 3.64%;ASC-H 0.93%;L-SIL 6.99%;H-SIL 3.93%;SCC 7.35%.The abnormal TCT results caused by high-risk HPV(HR-HPV)infection were significantly higher than those caused by low-risk HPV(LR-HPV)infection(?~2=1530.678,P<0.001),and the difference was statistically significant.Comparing the abnormal results of TCT detection between LR-HPV types has some differences.(?~2=824.059,P<0.001);There were also differences between HR-HPV types.(?~2=150.712,P<0.001)Conclusion:The situation of HPV infection among women in Xinjiang is becoming increasingly serious and it is urgent to promote HPV vaccination and screening in the region.
