Clinical Observation Of Jiawei Guipi Decoction Combined With EPO In The Treatment Of Cancer-related Anemia With Deficiency Of Qi And Blood

Objective:Using jiawei guipi decoction combined with erythropoietin(EPO)in the treatment of middle-late anemias associated gastrointestinal tumors,compared with pure EPO,evaluate the effectiveness of the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of gastrointestinal tumor associated anemia and security,and explore the traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of gastrointestinal tumor associated anemia in advantage,for the treatment of gastrointestinal tumor associated anemia is better choice.Method:Sixty patients with gastrointestinal tumor-associated anemia who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into study group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases).Team using flavored spleen-invigorating soup with EPO therapy and control group to EPO therapy,treatment of 4 weeks in a row,were observed before and after treatment of hemoglobin,red blood cell count,erythrocyte deposited,TCM syndrome integral,total T lymphocytes(CD3+),cell factor,quality of life(EORTC QLQ C30 Chinese version)score and safety index,and the use of statistical software SPSS26.0 to collect data.Results:1.Hemoglobin:After treatment,hemoglobin in both groups was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.01),and the study group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.01).The effective rate of anemia was 76.67%in the study group and 46.67%in the control group.The efficacy of the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Red blood cell and hematocrit:after treatment,the RBC count and hematocrit in both groups were significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.01).The RBC count in the study group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.01),and there was no statistical significance in the hematocrit in the two groups(P>0.05).3.TCM syndromes:After treatment,the total score of TCM syndromes in both groups decreased compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and the study group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).According to the evaluation of TCM syndromes efficacy,the effective rate of the study group was 90.00%,and the effective rate of the control group was 63.33%,and the efficacy of the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further comparison showed that after treatment,the study group was superior to the control group in terms of palpitation,loss of appetite,abdominal distension,loose stool and complexion(P<0.05),and the two groups had the same effect in terms of limb fatigue,insomnia,shortness of breath and night sweat(P>0.05).4.CD3+ and cytokines:after treatment,the level of CD3+cells in the study group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.01),while the difference before and after treatment was not significant in the control group(P>0.05).After treatment,interleukin-6 was significantly decreased in both groups(P<0.01),and the study group was superior to the control group(P<0.05),but tumor necrosis factor and interferon-had no effect before and after treatment(P>0.05).5.Quality of life:in the control group after treatment only in the overall health score increased before treatment(P<0.05),the team in the patient’s physical function and overall health scores were significantly increased(P<0.01),and is better than that of control group(P<0.05),but the two groups before and after treatment in the role,emotional,cognitive,social each function did not see significant difference((P>0.05).6.Safety index:the number of abnormal cases in liver and kidney function,routine urine,routine stool+OB and electrocardiogram decreased slightly after treatment,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no increase in blood pressure in the study group and two cases in the control group,both of which were slightly increased.After symptomatic treatment,blood pressure returned to normal.Conclusion:1.Compared with EPO alone,jiawei guipi decoction combined with EPO in the treatment of gastrointestinal tumor-associated anemia with deficiency of qi and blood has better efficacy and higher safety.2.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has some advantages in alleviating TCM symptoms,regulating immunity and improving quality of life.
