ObjectivesThis research aims to explore the serum lipids and lipoprotein in patients with lung cancer include: triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein(LDL),high density lipoprotein(HDL)and apolipoprotein A and its changes and clinical significance in lung cancer, and compare of lipid and lipoprotein in different stage and pathology.MethodsRetrospective collection of patients with lung cancer confirmed by pathology or cytology for the first time in Affiliated Hospital of Tai’an Medical university for the first time in 2014-2017 years and patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease which diagnosed in department of respiration. At the same time, the serum lipid data of the normal population at the medical check-up center were collected as the control group.Analysis of serum lipid level and lipoprotein were used one-way anova analysis, pairwise comparisioin was used independent samples t-test.Result1.Lung cancer group and control group:The TC、HDL and LDL level in lung cancer were significantly lower than the control group. But the serum TG and Lp(a)was significantly higher than control group.2.AECOPD group and control group:The TC、HDL、 LDL and Lp(a)level in AECOPD group were significantly lower than the control group.3.Lung cancer group and AECOPD group:The serum TG and Lp(a)level in lung cncer was significantly higher than AECOPD group.4.Comparison of different types of lung cancer:There were no significant difference in squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma and small cell carcinoma.5.Comparison of different stages:the HDL and LDL level in sstage I group was significantly higher than Stage IV group.Lp(a)level comparision:stage IV > stage III > stage II > stage I.ConclusionThe TC、HDL and LDL level in lung cancer were significantly lower than the control group. But the serum TG and Lp(a)was significantly higher than control group. The TC、HDL、 LDL and Lp(a)level in AECOPD group were significantly lower than the control group. There were no significant difference in different types of lung cancer.Lp(a)is associated with the severity of lung cancer and may be a useful indicator of the severity of lung cancer patients.
