ObjectivesThis study compared the clinical data, living habits, past history, blood routine, blood lipid routine, polyp characteristics of patients with and without recurrence of colorectal polyps after endoscopic polypectomy, and explored the factors influencing the recurrence of colorectal polyps after resection,to provide reference for identifying patients prone to relapse and clinical follow-up.MethodsIn this study,a retrospective analysis was conducted to collect 184 patients(69 females,115 males, aged 20-79 years old)who underwent endoscopic polypotomy of large intestine in the second affiliated hospital of kunming medical university from January 2014 to January 2018.According to the results of the second colonoscopy, the patients were divided into the relapse group(109 cases)and the non-recurrence group(75 cases). The clinical data, living habits, past history, blood routine, blood lipid routine, characteristics of polyps were recorded SPSS23.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data, and the continuous variables were converted into categorical variables after grouping. All categorical variables were analyzed by chi-square test to filter out the influencing factors of recurrence after colonic polypectomy.Logistic multivariate regression analysis was conducted to analyze the influential factors with statistical significance, and independent risk factors were obtained.Results1.There was no significant difference between the recurrence and non-recurrence group(P>0.05)in gender and Body Mass Index(BMI).The difference in age was statistically significant(P<0.05).With the increase in age,the risk of recurrence was increasing.2.There were statistically significant differences between the recurrence and non-recurrence group(P<0.05)in smoking and hypertension, while there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in drinking, diabetes and gallbladder condition(P>0.05).Patients with a history of smoking and hypertension would affect the recurrence of colonic polypectomy.3.There was no statistically significant difference in the ratio of Neutrophil to lymphocyte(NLR)or the ratio of Platelet to lymphocyte(PLR)between the the recurrence and non-recurrence group(P>0.05).while there was statistically significant difference in Red Cell volume Distribution Width(RDW)(P<0.05).The higher the RDW value, the greater the risk of recurrence.4.There was no statistically significant difference in Total cholesterol(TC),Triglycerides(TG),Low-density lipoprotein(LDL)(P>0.05).The difference in High density lipoprotein(HDL)showed statistically significant difference(P<0.05),and HDL was an independent factor affecting the recurrence of colorectal polypectomy.,and HDL was an independent factor for recurrence after polypectomy.5.There were statistically significant differences in polyp diameter, polyp number, polyp base and polypectomy method(P<0.05),but no statistically significant differences in polyp location, yamada typing and pathological results(P>0.05).The diameter and number of polyps were the independent factors of recurrence after polypectomy.Conclusion1.Age,history of smoking, history of hypertension, erythrocyte width,high-density lipoprotein, polyp diameter, polyp number, polyp base are the influential factors for recurrence after polypectomy.2.High-density lipoprotein, polyp number, and polyp diameter were independent risk factors for recurrence after polypectomy. When high-density lipoprotein<1.0mmol/L,polyp number>3,and polyp diameter>1cm,the possibility of polyp recurrence was high.
