In this article,the pods of Sophora japonica,a common amaranth plant from Kunming,Yunnan,and the chemical constituents of Elaeocarpus austro-yunnanensis,a unique plant from the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province,were discussed.Brassica is widely distributed,and its medicinal active ingredients are also abundant.The types of compounds reported so far include flavonoids,flavonols,isoflavones,stilbenes,and small amounts of alkaloids.In this experiment,after methanol extraction by immersion in methanol,various separation and purification methods include forward silica gel column chromatography,Sephadex LH-20 gel column chromatography,MCI column chromatography,preparative HPLC and recrystallization,methanol from the horns.Seventeen monomer compounds were isolated and purified from the extract,and their structures were identified by modern spectral analysis including 1D NMR,2D NMR and MS.The compounds identified by purification are kaempferol(1)?apigenin(2).?kaempferol 7-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(3)?kaempferol 3-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(4)?kaempferol 3-O-?-L-rhamnopyranoside-7-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(5)?kaempferol 3-O-?-sophoroside(6)?kaempferol 3-O-?-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1-2)-?-D-glucopyranoside(7)?kaempferol 3-O-?-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1-4)-?-D-glucopyranoside(8)?kaempferol 3-O-?-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1-6)-?-D-glucopyranoside(9)?kaempferol 3-O-?-D-glucopyranosyl(1-6)-?-D-glucopyranoside-7-(O-a-L-rhamnopyranoside(10)?kaempferol 3-O-?-D-glucopyranosyl(1-2)-[a-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1-6)]-?-D-glucopyranoside(11)?kaempferol 3-O-?-D-xylopyranosyl(1-2)-[a-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1-6)]-?-D-glucopyranoside(12)?gemsteim(13)?geistim(14)?gemsteim 7-O-?-D-apiofuranosyl(1-6)-?-D-glucopyranoside(15)?sophorabioside(16)?methyl gallate(17).Among them,compounds 5,8,and 10-12 were isolated from the genus Sophoreae for the first time,and compounds 9,14,and 15 were isolated from the plant for the first time.Elaeocarpus austro-yunnanensis is a peculiar species of Elaeocarpus in Xishuangbanna.So far,no research reports on its chemical composition have been found.In this experiment,18 monomeric compounds were isolated,purified and identified from the methanol extracts of Elaeocarpus austro-yunnanensis's leaves.they are,respectively:(+)-syringaresimol(1')?(+)sesamin(2')?mearnsitrin(3')?kaempferol(4')?quercetin(5')?phlorizin(6')?ferulic acid(7')?methyl chlorogenate(8')?L-phenylalanine(9')?E-4-hydroxyhex-2-enoic acid(10')?benzoic acid(11')?protocatechuic acid(12')?vanillic acid(13')?methyl protocatechuate(14')?salicylic acid(15')?oleanolic acid(16')?ursolic acid(17')??-sitosterol(18')?All of the above compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.Finally,this paper reviews the research progress of compounds and their activities reported by Elaeocarpus in recent years.
