The dissertation consists of four parts: The first part is the summary of the research progress of inflammation and its related in vitro models;the second part is the anti-inflammatory activities of two types of guaianoid sesquiterpenes;the third parts are the experimental part;the fourth part is the discussion and prospect. In this dissertation, the RAW264.7 macrophage model induced by LPS was used to study the anti-inflammatory activities of 13 sesquiterpene compounds isolated from Artemisia austro-yunnanensis Ling et Y.R.Ling.A.austro-yunnanensis is a semi-herbaceous shrub, belonging to the genus Artemisia, family Compositae.Previous studies have shown that sesquiterpenoids are abundant in Artemisia and have many activities.Among the 13 compounds tested in this paper, except one compound displayed some toxic to mouse macrophage RAW264.7 at low dose, the other 12 compounds all can inhibit the expressions of iNOS and COX-2 on LPS-induced mouse macrophage RAW264.7 model at varying degrees, thereby inhibiting the production of NO,ROS,TNF-?,PGE2,IL-6,IL-1?,IL-10.Further Westren Blot experiment showed these compounds can inhibit the phosphorylation of NF-?B p65 and block the translocation of nuclear factor p65 into the nucleus. In addition,PCA was used to analyze the relationship between the tested compounds and inflammatory factors.
