Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of electroacupuncture in the treatment of Chemotherapy Induced Nausea and Vomiting in breast cancer patients, and to provide evidence and reference for the treatment of breast cancer with traditional Chinese medicine.METHODS:There are 87 patients with breast cancer were randomly assigned into single point?PC6?group 43 cases and double points?PC6+CV12?of 44 cases. Two groups use the first generation of 5-HT3 antagonist and electroacupuncture therapy, which should be given once a day and at least half an hour before chemotherapy for 3 days. The major indications are the incidence of nausea and vomiting, the complete control rate of nausea and vomiting, and the grade of nausea and vomiting, according to the CTCAE.The secondary indications are constipation and diarrhea grades, which are based on CTCAE,anxiety and depression degrees before and after the treatment, according to the HADS scale.Adverse reactions in the two groups were also recorded. Results:The incidence and the grade of nausea and vomiting are without statistically significant difference. The complete control rate of nausea and vomiting,on the 1thh and 2ndd day,P<0.05 with statistically significant difference. There is no statistically significant difference in constipation and diarrhea grades between two groups. When it came to the anxiety and depression degrees before and after the treatment, two groups P<0.05,both of them have statistically significant difference.About Safety evaluation:1 patient with nausea and 1 patient with severe constipation appeared in the single point group. One case of severe vomiting in the double-point group was treated with remedial medication, and one case of mild needle dizziness in the double-point group was treated with remedial medication. Conclusions:Firstly, there are no difference of electroacupuncture treatment for Neiguan?PC6?and Neiguan?PC6?combined with Zhongwan?CV12?in Chemotherapy Induced Nausea and Vomiting, and constipation and diarrhea grades in breast cancer patients.Secondly, electroacupuncture for Neiguan?PC6?can ease the ststes of anxiety and depression in the patients of breast cancer. |
