| Objective: Tooth defect is a common oral disease in clinic.CAD/CAM technique can be used to repair the teeth with large defect.Hyramic is a new type of resin nanoceramic developed by UPCERA in China.At present,the research on the adhesive properties of Hyramic has not been reported.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the bonding properties of Hyramic,to explore the surface treatment method which can improve the bonding strength,and to provide further experimental basis for its clinical application.Methods: Hyramic was cut into 12×14×8mm and 12×14×3mm samples.Each sample were randomly divided into six groups and treated with different surface treatment: no treatment(NT);silanization(Si);hydrofluoric acid etching(HF);hydrofluoric acid combined with silanization(HF+Si);sandblasting(SB);sandblasting combined with silanization(SB+Si).The 12×14×3mm samples were used to measure the surface roughness and observed by scanning electron microscope.Specimens in the same group of 2×14×8mm were bonded together to make microtensile specimens.The microtensile strength was tested after storage of 24 hours in 37℃ distilled water.The results of microtensile bond strength and surface roughness were statistically analyzed with one-way ANOVA followed by LSD post hoc(α=0.05).Results: The microtensile bond strength and surface roughness of Hyramic were significantly affected by different surface treatments(P<0.05).The bond strength and surface roughness of group HF and group SB were significantly higher than that group NT(P<0.05),and the roughness of group SB was significantly higher than that of group HF(P<0.05),but the bond strength of group HF was slightly higher than that of group SB and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The bond strength of group HF+Si was significantly lower than that of group HF(P<0.05).Difference of bond strength between group SB and group SB+Si was no statistical significance(P>0.05).Silanization treatment had no significant effect on the surface roughness of Hyramic(P>0.05).Conclusion: The bond strength of Hyramic can be affected by different surface treatments.Hydrofluoric acid,sandblasting and silanization can improve the bond strength of Hyramic in different degrees.Application of hydrofluoric acid etching and sandblasting on the surface of Hyramic could obtain high bond strength,but hydrofluoric acid etching is not suitable for combined application with silanization. |
