Objectives: 1.To probe into the morphological characteristics of penetrating resin and fluid resin in dentin bonding plane, and to compare different superficial dealing ways' sealing effects on exposing dentinal tubules. 2. To contrast the adhesive properties between different adhesives and the dentin. Methods: 1.Observe bonding interfacial configurations of the penetrating resin and fluid resin after self-etching adhesion and total-etching adhesion, and measure the thickness of hybrid layers, as well as the length of resin tags, with the help of scanning electron microscope; 2.Compare the penetrating resin and other desensitizers' clinical effects of direct repair for the cervical region of the teeth; 3. By measuring the shear force of resin- dentin bonding specimens, compare the shear strength sizes of penetrating resin and fluid resin permeating through the dentinal tubules.4.Conduct distribution tests of severe worn dentition on those patients whose occlusal surfaces were abraded excessively and who suffered dentinhypersensitivity, and by using composite resin and fluid resin to filled the occlusal surface, compare the tooth sensitivity between before the filling and after the filling. Results: 1.According to the observations of scanning electron microscopes, the penetrating resin formed protection layer on the exposed dentin surface, just like the fluid resin. The thickness of the hybrid layer of the group of total- etching plus fluid resin was the thickest, the adhesive layer of the group of self-etching plus fluid resin was the thickest, and the resin tags which permeated into dentinal tubules from the group of permeable resin were the longest. 2.As to the direct repair for the cervical region of the teeth, the group of penetrating resin, the group of flour protector and the group of glass ionomer had similar immediate effects on improving dentin sensitivity after treatments, but in long term, the group of permeable had best effects. 3. The result of the shear force: the group penetrating resin and the group of PNBT had much more bonding strength than self-etching group, and after the self-etching treatment, the shear strength by using fluid resin was the lowest. 4. After the composite resin and fluid resin' direct filling on those patients whose occlusal surfaces were abraded excessively and who suffered allergy, the sensitivity of the group of composite resin was improved obviously, compared with other groups. Conclusions: 1.The penetrating resin could permeate through exposed dentinal tubules to form resin tags and seal the dentinal tubules, whosefunction was better than that of self-etching or total-etching fluid resin. 2.The curative effect of the group of permeable resin for improving dentin allergy was evidently superior to those of the group of glass ionomer and the group of flour protector. 3. The shear strength of total-etching bond was higher than that of self-etching bond and the strength of the one-step self-etching bond was the lowest. 4. The fluid resin had obvious curative effects on those patients whose occlusal surfaces were abraded excessively and who suffered allergy.
