Objective: Endometrial polyps(EMPs)is a common benign endometrial lesion in gynecology. It is considered to be an important factor leading to female infertility. The incidence of EMPs can be as high as 25%,which is essentially a benign endometrial hyperplasia with localized endometrial protuberance.Adenomyosis is a common benign disease of uterus. It is generally defined as the benign invasion of endometrium to the myometrium of uterus, resulting in diffuse enlargement of uterus, which is essentially a non-neoplastic ectopic growth of endometrial glands and stroma, surrounded by hypertrophic uterine smooth muscle. At present,it is believed that the pathogenesis of adenomyosis and endometrial polyps has a cross-mechanism of endometrial abnormalities. The relationship between endometrial polyps and endometriosis has been confirmed by many studies. Many mechanisms have been found to be involved in the pathogenesis of endometriosis and endometrial polyps, including the imbalance of expression of estrogen, progesterone and their receptors, the imbalance of proliferation and apoptosis, the abnormal expression of cytokines and enzymes, and the abnormality of tissue damage and repair. And many studies at home and abroad have found that patients with endometriosis have a higher incidence of endometrial polyps. This study will preliminarily explore the relationship between adenomyosis and endometrial polyps, and further point out whether there are some factors that can induce adenomyosis complicated with endometrial polyps,so as to improve the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment of adenomyosis. Methods: In this study,904 inpatients with abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility, abnormal uterine echoes and menstrual disorders were selected from July 2017 to June2018 in the First Gynecology Department of Shengjing Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University. All patients underwent hysteroscopy, endometrial polypectomy, hysterectomy, myomectomy and diagnostic curettage.Among them,694 patients with endometrial polyps were diagnosed by pathology as the experimental group, while 210 patients as the control group. Results: 1.Single factor t test and X2 test showed that BMI,adenomyosis, diabetes mellitus and previous uterine surgery were related to the incidence of endometrial polyps.(p<0.05).2.Hypertension,menopause and age were not significantly correlated with endometrial polyps.(p>0.05).3.BMI and previous uterine surgery experience are related to the incidence of endometrial polyps and cervical polyps.(p<0.05).4.The recurrence rate of endometrial polyps patients treated with Mirena after operation is lower. Conclusion: 1.Adenomyosis is a risk factor for endometrial polyps.2.BMI,diabetes mellitus and previous surgery are associated with the incidence of endometrial polyps.3?Hypertension,menopause and age had no significant correlation with the incidence of endometrial polyps.
