Correlation Between Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Volume,Thrombus Volume In Aneurysm,Thrombus Thickness In Aneurysm And Rupture Of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

Objective: The most commonly used marker for the risk of abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)rupture is the largest aneurysm diameter.Studies have shown that the maximum AAA diameter alone is an inaccurate predictor of the risk of rupture.This study investigated the tumor volume,volume,intratumoral thrombus(ILT)thickness,thrombus volume,and abdominal aortic aneurysm in patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA).The clinical significance and interrelationship of rupture is to make the risk of predicting AAA rupture more precise.Methods: A total of 591 patients with AAA admitted between January 2008 and June2018 were enrolled to exclude ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm(rAAA),severe cardiovascular disease,malignant tumor,infectious disease,oral anticoagulant or steroid therapy except for aura.A total of 86 patients with a history of recent surgery and those with acute thrombotic disease within 3 months who had complete influence data were included.The intratumoral thrombus thickness,intratumoral thrombus volume,and abdominal aortic aneurysm volume were determined by imaging methods.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 22.0 software.Logistic stepwise regression analysis and ROC curve analysis were used to compare the correlation between ILT thickness,ILT volume,abdominal aortic aneurysm volume and abdominal aortic aneurysm volume and abdominal aortic aneurysm rupture.Correlation and clinical significance.Results: Correlation analysis showed that ILT volume(r=0.731),ILT thickness(r=0.510),AAA volume(r=0.587),AAA diameter(r=0.372)were positively correlated with rupture of aneurysm(both P<0.001),but There was no correlation between abdominal aortic aneurysm volume and aneurysm rupture(r=0.145,P=0.181).ROC curve analysis indicated that ILT volume had the highest diagnostic efficiency for AAA rupture,followed by AAA volume and ILT thickness again,but all three were compared.Abdominal aortic aneurysm >50mm in diameter has good diagnostic performance.Conclusions: Abdominal aortic aneurysm volume,intratumoral thrombus volume,and ILT thickness are risk factors for AAA progression,but abdominal aortic aneurysm volume is not involved.Using ILT volume to predict AAA rupture risk may be morecommon than abdominal aortic aneurysm alone.The maximum diameter >50mm is more accurate.
