Pedicularis(Orobanchaceae)plants, commonly known as lousewort, mainly distributed in Asian,European, and North America countries. The genus of Pedicularis consists of approximately 600 species, about 300 species of which are found in the cold zone and high mountain areas of China, especially in the southwest and northwest areas.Traditionally, some of these plants have long been used as medicinal herbs, especially as Tibetan medicines, which are extensively used for treating of fevers, rheumatism, hepatobiliary diseases and food poisoning, refining digestion, and keeping vitality.Previous investigations revealed the wide existence of phenylpropanoids, iridoids, lignans, and flavonoids from Pedicularis. And some of the isolates, especially iridoids, have been demonstrated possessing diverse biological activities such as antioxidant, inhibition of DNA mutation, antitumor, and hepatoprotective. The genus of Pestalotiopsis is defined as an asexual endophytic genus of Deuteromvcetes according to its morphological characteristics. The conidia, which are fusiform, are composed of 5 cells, the middle 3 cells are colored, while the cells at both ends are colorless, and the apical cells contain one or more accessory filaments. The nutritional traits of the genus of Pestalotiopsis mainly include parasitic, saprophytic and endogenous.Pestalotiopsis widely distributes throughout the world, especially in tropical and subtropical regions. The secondary metabolites of the genus of Pestalotiopsis are also abundant, mainly including terpenoids(sesquiterpenes, diterpenes, triterpenes),nitrogenous compounds(amines and amides),benzoquinone, semiquinone, coumarins, lactones, and phenolic compounds. Some of the compounds exhibit good biological activities, such as antibacterial,anti-inflammatory,anti-tumor,anti-oxidation and so on.In order to clarify the the plant of Pedicularis kansuensis and the fungi of Pestalotiopsis microspora,in this thesis, taking the whole plants of Pedicularis kansuensis and the Pestalotiopsis microspora as the research object,a systematically investigation was performed to 95%ethanol extract from the plant and the ethyl acetate-soluble residues of the fungi.Through isolation and identification techniques, including silica gel column chromatography,reversed-phase C18 silica gel column chromatography,Sephadex LH-20 chromatography, and semi-preparative HPLC,33compounds were isolated. On the basis of the spectroscopic technique, and compared the NMR spectroscopic data with those reported in literature, the structures of these secondary metabolites were elucidated.20 compounds were established from Pedicularis kansuensis, mainly including iridoids,lignans,phenylpropanoid,etc.13compounds were established from Pestalotiopsis microspora, two of which were new compounds, and the structural types mainly included xanthones and anthraquinones. In addition,in order to meet the basis of this thesis, and to provide better guidance for experimental design, the secondary metabolites and medicinal value of Pedicularis were systematically reviewed. To a certain extent, this review has certain reference value for the development and utilization of Pedicularis. |
