OBJECTIVE: To analyze the clinical characteristics of patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning in the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University, and to explore the prognostic risk factors of ACMP patients, and to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of ACMP in the future. Methods: 1.Patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning admitted to our hospital from January 2013 to December 2017 were collected for their names, gender, age, carbon monoxide exposure time, coma time, cause of poisoning, past medical history, clinical manifestations, and admission.Laboratory data(carbonohemoglobin concentration, myocardial enzymes, lactate levels)and imaging data(cephal CT,MRI),EEG,and follow-up recovery within 3 months after discharge,to determine whether the recovery is good,Whether late encephalopathy occurs.2.Statistics of clinical manifestations and complications of patients, and analysis of clinical features of ACMP.3.According to whether the patient developed delayed encephalopathy group, age, carbon monoxide exposure time, coma time, myocardial enzymes, head MRI,EEG and other factors were analyzed by single factor and multi-factor to find the risk factors of DEACMP.4.According to whether the prognosis of patients is well grouped, the above factors were again analyzed by univariate and multivariate factors to find the risk factors for adverse outcomes of ACMP.Results: 1.This study included 221 patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning,6patients died,50 patients had delayed encephalopathy, and 76 patients had poor prognosis. The poisoning type was mainly caused by life poisoning, and severe poisoning was more common.2.The overall age of poisoning is mostly between the ages of 15 and 80.Thenumber of people between the ages of 50 and 65 is the highest, and the number of people under the age of 15 and 80 is the least.3,poisoning time occurs mostly in November-March,spring and winter season;poisoning places are mainly home, accounting for 87%.4,clinical manifestations are more common in patients with unconsciousness,180 cases(81%),all cases have neurological symptoms.5.The most common complications were pulmonary infection, including 92(42%),followed by delayed encephalopathy in 50(23%).Other common complications were myocardial damage, rhabdomyolysis, peripheral nerve damage,Acute cerebral infarction, burns, pressure sores,etc.6.Age,exposure time and coma time are independent risk factors for delayed encephalopathy;7.Age and coma time are independent risk factors for prognosis in patients with carbon monoxide poisoning. Conclusion: 1,acute carbon monoxide poisoning in our hospital is mainly due to life poisoning, high incidence in winter and spring, respiratory and cardiovascular system is the most common complication of ACMP,DEACMP patients have a poor prognosis.2,age,exposure time, coma time is an independent risk factor for DEACMP.
