Objective: To investigate the risk factors of VTE in hospitalized patients with AECOPD,so as to provide references for the clinical assessment and prevention of VTE and reduce the risks of VTE in patients with AECOPD.Methods: Patients with AECOPD in the hospital during the period of January 2014 to December 2017 were collected.Patients were divided in to the following two groups according to whether they were diagnosed VTE: VTE group and the non-VTE group. To analyze the difference of the basic data and laboratory date between the two groups.Analyzed the risk factors of VTE by logistic regression analysis.Using the SPSS23.0 statistical software to analyze the results. Results: Totally 307 patients with AECOPD were collected in this study, including 39 patients with VTE,37 patients were diagnosed with DVT by vascular ultrasound, and 2 patients were diagnosed with PTE by Pulmonary angiography, while the remaining 268 patients were not diagnosed with VTE.Compared with the non-VTE group, patients in VTE group had history of smoking(92.3%vs33.6%,P< 0.001),advanced age(73.0VS67.0,P< 0.001),slightly higher BMI(22.3VS22.1,P< 0.001),and women(71.8%vs49.3%,P< 0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that advanced age(OR=2.22,95%CI,1.31-3.76),female patients(OR=105.58,95%CI,7.26-1534.80),patients had smoking history(OR=0.03,95%CI,0.08-0.12),higher BMI(OR=3.52,95%CI,1.20-10.37),higher HCT(OR=0.46,95%CI,0.25-0.87),higher HGB(OR=2.86,95%CI,1.24-6.63)and stay in bed more than 3 days(OR=0.40,95%CI,0.00-0.52)were risk factors of VTE.Conclusions: The incidence rate of VTE is 12.7% in patients with AECOPD.This study found that for inpatients with AECOPD,female, advanced age, smoking history, higher BMI,higher HGB,higher HCT and stay in bed more than 3 days were risk factors of VTE.
