At present,the extensive applications of computer technology to different fields have brought about great changes to traditional industries.For example,in the field of medicine,computer technology leads to more efficient diagnosis and treatment,so in this era of digitalized diagnosis and treatment,it is necessary to use various imaging equipment in the process of diagnosis,which involves storage,communication and processing of medical data.DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine)is an international standard for medical images and related information.This standard has been widely recognized worldwide.It solves the problem of incompatibility between different manufacturers' devices,and promotes the expansion of PACS(Picture Archiving and Communication Systems).This standard also defines the format of medical documents that contain patient information and image information and require professional software for browsing.At present,medical files in line with DICOM are applied in many hospitals.It is a key module in PACS.It is also a fundamental part of therapy systems.It is of practical significance to parse medical files and provide effective processing methods to fully obtain the information contained in the files,for this can improve the efficiency and accuracy of diagnosis and treatment.In order for better auxiliary diagnosis,an in-depth study on DICOM was first made to understand the data structure in the standard.On this basis,the files in the DICOM format were processed in three parts,namely parsing of DICOM medical files,processing of medical images,and auxiliary measurement and recording of medical images.In the parsing of medical files,the contents of the original files in line with DICOM are parsed and displayed,and the information can be stored.In the processing of medical images,the parsed medical images are processed by many methods including threshold segmentation,boundary detection,window modulation and pseudo-color transformation applicable for medical diagnosis and analysis,which enable doctors to find out the causes of diseases from multiple perspectives and locate the focus quickly.The processing of medical images assists doctors to observe medical images and diagnose,while in the auxiliary measurement and recording of medical images,with the help of the observation means including auxiliary measurement,patient diagnostic information storage and image histogram information display,doctors are assisted to observe so that the diagnosis results become more objective and accurate and can be saved.Finally,Qt development framework was used to realize the medical file processing system based on DICOM,which was tested by different kinds of DICOM format files.As shown by the test results,the system runs stably and each function can reach the expectation,so it can effectively assist diagnosis and treatment.
