Improvement Design Of Qinghai H Hospital Information System

Following the rapid development of Information Technology,there is an increasing dema nd for its implementation in every industrial sector;China’s Healthcare Sector has also been af fected with Hospital Information system developing rapidly.Over the past decade,the Chinese Ministry of Health required that hospitals complete the information construction process.Benefit of the constant growth in hospital informatization include more convenient and efficient management,more accurate and effective decision-making process as well as in the provision of better quality services to patients,which will further improve competitiveness in the healthcare sector as a whole.Our research focuses on Qinghai H Hospital as a case study.Firstly,base on the theory of Hospital Informatization combined with the practical situation of the hospital and interview survey we analyzed the existing Hospital Information System at Qinghai H Hospital,observing that the system has a low degree of Integration,Inferior Application Version,and Imperfect Functionality and obscured hazards etc which affect objective factors of system operation.It was also observed that the hospital information system has a series of problems.These include insufficient knowledge on hospital informatization within various hospital departments;lack of holistic planning in construction of the information system,mismanagement of Information management Construction funds,low level skills of technical personnel,disorganized Information Management organization with no clear lines of reporting and weak safety management.Secondly,based on Information system requirements analysis,we determine the design target for a system improvement plan and perform a holistic detailed design,elaborating on its overall implementation of the plan and related issues.Thirdly,this paper presents detailed explanation on methods and strategy for solving problem relating to information system such as enhancing understanding of informatization in various hospital departments,unified holistic planning,attaching great importance to Fund Manageme nt in Information construction,improving on talent cultivation in informatization,proper setting up of hospital information management organization,proving clarifying personnel respon sibilities,strengthening security management and so on.It is only by perfecting these methods and systems that Qinghai H hospital can achieve greater progress and long-term growth in th e process of informationization.
