Objective:To investigate the correlation between FeNO?Fractional exhaled nitric oxide?and lung function in artemisia argyi allergy patients.Whether the course of disease and rhinitis score are correlated with FeNO and lung function.Methods:In this study,95 AR patients with artemisia argyi pollen allergy admitted to the Peace Branch of General Hospital of Northern War Zone from August to September 2018were selected,and FeNO and lung function tests were performed on those who met the requirements.According to the diagnostic basis of FeNO?see table 3?,it was divided into three groups:group A:14 cases of non-eosinophilic airway inflammation;Group B mixed airway inflammation in 24 people;Fifty-seven cases of eosinophilic airway inflammation in group C were divided into mild group?group a?and moderate to severe group?group b?according to the severity of rhinitis symptoms.Results:1.There was no difference in age or gender between the ABC and ab groups.2.The FEV1%difference among the three ABC groups was statistically significant,p=0.002 compared with FEV1%,and the result was that,p?BC?=0.049p?AC?=0.001,all p<0.05.3.After comparison between the a group and b group,it was concluded that only FeNO had a statistically significant difference,P=0.014.4.FeNO had a negative correlation with FEV1%?rho=-0.321,P=0.001?,and FeNO had no correlation with FEV1predred and FE25-75%pred.5.the disease course and FEV1%is negative correlation,?=-0.357,P=0.000.but with the FeNO is positively correlated,?=0.258,P=0.011.with FEV1%pred?FEF25-75%predred has no correlation.6.There is a positive correlation between FeNO and rhinitis scores,?=0.036,P=0.002,and no correlation with lung function indicators,P<0.05.7.There was no significant correlation between the rhinitis score and the pollen SI of artemisia arteannuis,P=0.320.Conclusion:1.In AR patients sensitized to artemisia argyi pollen,eosinophilic inflammation may have occurred while only rhinitis symptoms were present.FeNO value can reflect the inflammation of respiratory tract and can be used as an auxiliary diagnostic tool for the severity of AR.2.FeNO can preliminarily determine airway inflammation and airflow limitation.In addition,it can predict the change of airway function in the early stage of the disease to a certain extent and can be used as the monitoring index of early warning of asthma.3.With the progress of hay fever,the risk of airflow restriction increases gradually.Patients with a longer course of disease are more likely to develop asthma if they do not change the natural course of the disease in time.4.With the prolongation of the course of disease,the higher of the SPT positive grade,the higher the rhinitis score.There was no significant correlation between rhinitis score and artemisia argyi pollen SI.
