Objective: Objective To investigate the relationship between vitamin D and multi-vessel disease of coronary heart disease. Methods: Serum 25-vitamin D levels were measured by electrochemiluminescence in 156 patients with multi-vessel disease of coronary heart disease(observation group)and 96 patients with single-vessel disease(control group). The levels of vitamin D,age, sex, blood lipids and fasting blood glucose were compared between the two groups.Multivariate analysis was performed using multivariate logistic regression. Results: The serum levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D were lower in the multi-vessel disease group than in the single-vessel disease group [11.58(8.79,16.14)vs 13.56(10.60,19.78),P=0.006],and the proportion of vitamin D deficiency was higher(86.54% vs.76.04%,P=0.033).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels were negatively correlated with coronary heart disease [OR=0.953(95%CI 0.910-0.998),P=0.039].Conclusion: Low-level 25-hydroxyvitamin D is a risk factor for multivessel disease in patients with coronary heart disease. |
