Objective:To investigate the effect of surgical resection of glioblastoma on survival and prognosis of patients. Methods: Retrospective analysis of 48 patients with glioblastoma who had long-term follow-up and complete preoperative and postoperative magnetic resonance imaging data from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from July 2012 to July 2017.Comparative analysis before surgery Postoperative T1 enhancement images and Flair images were used to calculate and analyze the correlation between tumor resection and patient survival prognosis. Results:The median survival(16.2 months)in T1-enhanced patients with complete resection(100% resection)was significantly longer than the median survival(8.6 months)in patients without total resection(<100%)(P<0.01).Further,in patients with T1 enhanced full-cut,the median survival(19.7 months)was significantly longer in patients with a Flair-like resection rate of ?35% than in those who had a resection rate of <35%(12.4 months)(P<0.05).Conclusion:The T1 enhancement of glioblastoma on the basis of full cut can reduce the survival time of patients with Flair's resection rate ?35%,which has important guiding significance for the development of glioma surgical strategy.
