Objective: To study the correlation between TCM syndrome types and blood lipid levels of rheumatoid arthritis, the distribution characteristics of TCM syndromes and clinical indicators of abnormal blood lipid in RA patients were discussed, which provided a theoretical basis for the differentiation and treatment of abnormal blood lipid in RA patients. Methods: 191 RA patients and 84 healthy subjects were included according to relevant standards.Collect two groups of general clinical data and the disease activing score in 28 joints(DAS28),detect and record the triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),apolipoprotein AI(ApoA-I),apolipoprotein B(ApoB),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),rheumatoid factor(RF),antibodie to cyclic citrullinated peptide anti-CCP)and other laboratory indicators.Data analysis was performed using SPSS22.0 statistical software. To investigate the correlation between ESR,CRP,DAS28 score,anti-CCP,RF,disease course and blood lipids in RA patients, and the correlation between different TCM syndrome types and blood lipids in RA patients.Results:(1)Serum TG,LDL-C and ApoB levels in RA group were higher than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Serum TC,HDL-C and ApoA-I levels in RA group were lower than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Spearman correlation analysis showed that ESR was positively correlated with TG,LDL-C,ApoB,but negatively correlated with HDLC,ApoA-I,TC,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).CRP is positively correlated with TG and ApoB,but negatively correlated with HDL-C,ApoA-I and TC,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05),but there is no obvious correlation with LDL-C,P>0.05.DAS28 score TG,LDL-C and ApoB are positively correlated, but negatively correlated with HDL-C and ApoA-I,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05),but there is no obvious correlation with TC,(P>0.05).There was no significant correlation between anti-CCP,RF,course of disease and blood lipid(P>0.05).(3)The distribution of TCM syndromes in 191 RA patients were sputum-stasis obstruction syndrome(22.50%)>stagnation of blood stasis syndromee(14.1%)>rheumatism obstruction syndrome(12.0%)>qi-blood deficiency syndrome(11.5%)>damp-heat obstruction syndrome/liver and kidney deficiency syndrome(11.0%)>cold dampness syndrome /qi-yin deficiency syndrome(8.90%),sputum-stasis obstruction syndrome with the largest number of syndromes.(4)The distribution of course of disease,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,ApoA-I,ApoB,CRP in different TCM syndromes of RA patients has statistical difference,P< 0.05,the distribution of TCM syndromes of age,sex,TC,DAS28 score,CCP,RF has no obvious difference,P>0.05.Conclusions:(1)Compared with the normal control group,RA patients have obvious lipid level changes, which are related to disease activities.(2)here are some differences in the distribution of blood lipids among different TCM syndromes.(3)There is a correlation between sputum and dyslipidemia in patients with RA.
