Clinical Observation Of Needle Acupuncture Combined With Common Acupuncture For Treatment Of Mild Alopecia Areata

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of needle acupuncture combined with common acupuncture in the treatment of mild alopecia areata,and to find a method for the effective treatment of mild alopecia areata,which provides a reference for clinical treatment of mild alopecia areata.Methods: Sixty patients with mild alopecia areata who met the study requirements were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.The control group was treated with ordinary acupuncture,and the treatment group was treated with needle acupuncture on the basis of ordinary acupuncture(the local hair loss area and the dorsal ridge regularly alternated).Needle acupuncturer and ordinary acupuncture treatment were performed once a day,6 times a week for a total of 4 weeks.The SALT scores,hair loss symptom scores and dermatology life quality index were observed and recorded before and after treatment.The statistical software SPSS20.0 was used to analyze the data to evaluate the clinical efficacy of needle acupuncture combined with common acupuncture for treatment of mild alopecia areata.Results:1.There were no significant differences in the baseline data between gender and age,duration of disease,and TCM syndromes between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The SALT scores of the two groups were 7.267±2.333 in the treatment group and 6.633±2.456 in the control group before treatment.The SALT score was 1.900±1.185 in the treatment group and 3.100±1.605 in the control group after treatment.The SALT scores of the two groups were comparable before treatment(P>0.05).There were significant differences in SALT scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).There was significant difference in SALT scores between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05);3.The scores of pre-treatment hair loss symptoms in the two groups were 21.000±0.695 in the treatment group and 21.067±0.828 in the control group before treatment.The scores of alopecia after treatment were 10.800±3.357 in the treatment group and 13.967±2.760 in thecontrol group after treatment.The scores of pre-treatment hair loss symptoms were comparable between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).There were significant differences in the scores of hair loss symptoms before and after treatment in the same group(P<0.05).There were significant difference in the scores of alopecia after treatment(P<0.05);4.The dermatology life quality index scores of the two groups were 11.933±3.413 points in the treatment group and 10.333±3.527 points in the control group before treatment.The dermatology life quality index scored 3.833±1.840 points in the treatment group and 5.300±2.395 in the control group after treatment.The scores of the dermatology life quality index were comparable between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).There were significant differences in the scores of the dermatology life quality index before and after treatment(P<0.05).There were significant difference in the scores of dermatology life quality index after treatment(P<0.05).5.The treatment group was cured in 0 cases,markedly effective in 6 cases,effective in 22 cases,and ineffective in 2 cases.The control group was cured in 0 cases,markedly effective in 2 cases,effective in 17 cases,and ineffective in 11 cases.Both treatment methods have curative effect.The efficiency was 93.333% in the treatment group and 63.333% in the control group.The total effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Needle acupuncture combined with ordinary acupuncture can effectively reduce the total area of hair loss in patients with mild alopecia areata,improve the symptoms of hair loss and quality of life,and its clinical efficacy is better than that of ordinary acupuncture alone.It is safe and effective.A method of treating light alopecia areata.
