Objective:To analyze the epidemiological characteristics and clinical features of influenza cases in outpatients and hospitalized children respectively so as to improve the understanding of influenza and let it be diagnosed and treated timely and accurately,so its harm can be minimized. Methods:The influenza outpatient case report data and pathogen monitoring data of Xi'an Children's Hospital from 2014 to 2017 were analyzed; In addition, the clinical analysis of80 children with influenza virus infection admitted to the Department of Respiratory Medicine of Xi'an Children's Hospital in 2017 was conducted.Results:(1)Children aged 2-5 were at high risk of influenza; There is no significant difference in gender distribution.(2)The number of influenza virus-positive strains isolated from 2014 to 2017 was 94,32,190 and 132 respectively. The type of strain was mainly influenza A virus(H3N2),and influenza B virus can also appear alternately.Influenza frequently occurred in January-March,November-December in Xi'an.Influenza mainly occurred in winter and spring, with type B and type A(H1N1)as common influenza virus types, while type A(H3N2)was more common in autumn and winter.(3)The average age of 80 children patients diagnosed with influenza in Xi'an Children's Hospital in 2017 was 1.5±2.0years old.Of the 80 patients,20 patients(25.0%)had a history of underlying disease, almost all children had fever and cough,31 patients had wheezing(38.8%),and 2 patients had yellow-white secretions on the tonsils(2.5%).The average time for confirming influenza was 6.0±4.1days.There were 14 cases(17.5%)with white blood cell count>10×10~9/L,and 5 cases(6.3%)with neutrophil ratio>70%.18 cases(22.5%)were coinfected with mycoplasma pneumoniae, and 42 cases(52.5%)had pneumonia. All patients were treated with oseltamivir since diagnosis, with an average administration time of 6.1days,of whom 44(55.0%)patients`body temperature fell to normal after 1 day. Conclusion:Children aged 2-5 were at high risk of influenza; The type of strain was mainly influenza A virus(H3N2);The clinical manifestations of children's influenza have their own special characteristics, and multiple organ injuries can occur. We should pay more attention to influenza,so that it can be early diagnosed and early treated.
