Objective: To investigate the application effect of ERAS in the perioperative period of patients undergoing thoracoscopic resection of mediastinal tumor. Methods: A total of 60 patients who were diagnosed with mediastinal tumor and underwent thoracoscopic mediastinal tumor resection in the thoracic surgery department of the affiliated hospital of Zunyi medical university from November 2017 to November 2018 were randomly divided into the traditional group(group T)and the ERAS group(group E).Patients in both groups underwent single-operator-hole total thoracoscopic mediastinal tumor resection.Traditional perioperative management was adopted in group T,and perioperative management of ERAS was adopted in group E.The basic information, operative data and postoperative recovery indexes of the two groups were compared.Results:(1)there is no statistically significant differences between the two groups in basic information,ASA classification, maximum tumor diameter, operation time, intraoperative blood loss(p>0.05),but the incidence of preoperative thirst and hunger in the ERAS group is significantly lower than that of the traditional group(p<0.05).(2)in terms of postoperative complications, the incidence of pulmonary infection in the ERAS group is significantly lower than that of traditional group(p<0.05).(3)In terms of postoperative recovery related indexes, group E has a obviously advantage over visual analogue score of pain in the first 3 days after surgery(p<0.001),CRP level and white blood cell count of group E on the third day after surgery are lower than that of group T(p<0.001],and in terms of time of chest tube removal and total thoracic drainage, group E is decreased when compared to group T(p<0.001),what's more, postoperative hospital stay and hospitaliza-tion cost are obviously decreased in group E(p<0.001).Conclusion: The application of ERAS in the perioperative period of patients undergoing thoracoscopic resection of mediastinal tumor can relieve postoperative pain, shorten the time of chest tube removal as well as reduce thoracic drainage, reduce the incidence of postoperative pulmonary infection, shorten the length of hospital stay, reduce hospitalization costs, promote the patients' rapid recovery, and doesn't increase the incidence of some unpleasant complications such as vomiting and aspiration, airway obstruction cause by tongue falling and urinary retention.Consequently,it is safe and feasible to apply ERAS in the perioperative period of patients undergoing thoracoscopic resection of mediastinal tumor, and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
